What do others think about "ASK ME" on profiles

August 23 2012

Just wondering if I am the only one that gets frustrated when reading someones profile and ALL it says about them is "ASK ME" Y carn't people at least write what they look like, what they want, etc etc instead of "ask me"   I myself don't contact these people as they have nothing for me to go on!   What do others think about these profiles????   Have fun sexy people

For us, no photo, 'ask me' for every category and a very vague/generic description is a big red flag that it is a fake profile or the person(s) has something to hide. Often notice however that these people have 10+ 'friends', which is odd :)If they can't even be bothered articulating a bit about themselves, it doesn't make us interested in communicating, let alone meeting them. We also wonder why RHP doesn't have a tag line with the last time a profile was active, like some other 'vanilla' sites. At least that would give you some idea as well, if the person hasn't logged on in six months, probably not worth the trouble. It is amazing how many messages and flirts we get from people that then require us to 'ask' them even something as basic as their height - mmm, you contacted us. It's like calling someone and not speaking when they answer. Oh well, takes all sorts!!Have a great weekend :)

I think it could be an insecurity. In my experience, all the "ask me" responses are either in the 'body type' or 'looks' questions. However in order to be successful on a site like this you need to be accepting and confident of who you are. The ones who are hesitant to answer any prying questions will probably not be open to actually meeting anyone.

didnt we do this only a few weeks ago? oh well....we ignore them, the ones who say 'ask me'....if they cant be bothered to fill out their profile...its easy.... we cant be bothered with them.... if it says in 'relationship'...ask me? we straight away decide to not...we dont need to know the answers.

If it's placed under looks or body image, then I take it that the person is insecure and worried that others may be put off if they admit to being fuller figured.   If it's in response to relationship status, I've always found they're married but think no one will chat to them if they know before hand.

'ask me' is something I don't like. If that is all they have on their profiles I don't even bother with them.... I think they are either hiding something or lying about something
