  For both parties to really enjoy the D/S thing the sub is actually the one in control. It is the D’s job to take the sub exactly where she wants to go without her having to ask for it. So where this will be will always depend on the subs true desires not on what the Dom selfishly wants to experience.

  If a ‘dominant’ fully expects someone to simply submit to them, the ‘dominant’ has no understanding whatsoever of the psychosocial needs/requirements at hand.

  To have earned her willingness to submit. Time is the key to trust and investing in giving her the platform so she feels happy to fully submit is a far more satisfying feeling than expectation of submission.
