Our regular FWB all get tested regularly and bring the paperwork as do we otherwise its condom on. In this day and age with the speed and accuracy of tests there is no excuse for being a carrier of an STD. We organise our night of hedonism in advance, people bring the paperwork and we all have a guilt free night. Also I would not count on a condom to stop any disease, they are notoriously unreliable.

Ain't no expert, but www has: "During the window period a person can be infected with HIV and be very infectious but still test HIV negative." The page I was looking at had a window period of 4 weeks ( at which point, a hiv test has a 95% chance of picking up that you are hiv+), and 12 weeks for a 99% chance. Which means that if you have been bear backing within the last 4 weeks, and your test is within the last 4 weeks, it guarantees nothing. I doubt it, I can't stand them. BUT as others have said but the tests are only as reliable as the honesty of their owner and the last person they had sex without a condom with as well. For eg. Anyone can say "I got tested last week" but since then they could have had unprotected sex with numerous people. We tried the very first femidom that was brought out in the U.K. About 1992. It was ok, but not great. I preferred the diagpham, but that's only for contraception. It's been proven condoms are the most effective prevention of STI bar abstinence! They aren't that bad, and getting better all the time. How promiscuous can couples be with other people (protected) before reassessing the risk of playing unprotected with each other? Just asking as no protection is perfect. Certainly a woman can play (protected) with many guys even between three monthly sti checks. While your partner is obviously special to you, at some point would you decide to play protected at home to reduce the risk to each other? Then there is also the concept of polyfidelity. A group (ie more than two) people who ONLY play with other members of the group who are all sti checked and can then be bareback.
