What is your definition of swinging

July 26 2014

I have read the definitions of "swinging" and still wonder why single (legitimately single) people say that they are swingers? Aren't they just doing what single people should be doing, and having as many sexual experiences with whom ever they wish? There has to be some advantages to being single after all 😊 - Posted from rhpmobile

Are definitely part of the swinging community when they are involved with threesomes or moresomes and couples who swing. - Posted from rhpmobile

Ahhhh..... Should have read my question properly before posting late on a Saturday night lol. What I was really trying to ascertain was do ALL single people who engage in group play activities consider themselves swingers? Apologies for any confusion forumites😊 - Posted from rhpmobile

I don't know what is the real meaning. I don't care. This is my definition. Swinging is when ALL following is valid. -Recreational sex among group of people. - All members of group are in some kind of own relationships preferably long term - All the partners of those relationships are part of the group According to my definition when singles are in group it is not swinging.

But I think anyone who strays beyond 'one on one' sex as moving into swinging territory, permission to play type 'one on one' stuff counts though because the absent partner is still there in the mix. That said, I had a group of friends years ago who never 'swapped' but had orgies. They did not see themselves as swingers, they were kinky and into BDSM.

Pasradise Pair and Married with Kids, very interesting to get others take on the issue. Have a few single friends that do engage in group activities and have attended parties and clubs before but they vehemently do not refer to themselves as swingers. Just baffled me, hence the post. I am LOVING the term "swingles" though ParadisePair....... That is going to be my word of the week. Mrs😈 - Posted from rhpmobile

Is when you go down to the park....and there's this apparatus with a seat, and a chain on both sides of said seat.... Those chains are connected to a bushed swivel on a bar that runs usually parallel to the ground. Said bar is normally raised off the ground by - varying in height - two "A" frame type structures. When you sit in the seat and push back and suddenly raise your feet off the ground; the potential energy is then converted into kinetic energy and the subsequent inertia helps to keep you propelled until gravity equalises and exceeds said kinetic energy thus reversing the originating direction. This process results in a constant switching of phase between positive and negative polarity until said kinetic is exhausted through the resistance of bushes, and the reactance of gravity. Yep....that's swinging :) - Posted from rhpmobile

I think it has a lot to do with how you got into going to swingers clubs and parties and what you are there for. It's a mindset and lifestyle thing. I usually go to parties and clubs with a close friend and I have a lot of good couple friends who are really into this scene... So I would say if I was at a swingers party/club I am a swinger... If I'm at home with the kids I'm a mum, if I'm on a stage I'm a dancer, if I'm at a gig with my normal gfs I'm a single etc etc Xxviolet
