What is your understanding of 'healthy'?

I can't remember if it's on my profile or not however I am attracted to people who have a similar 'healthy' lifestyle to mine. Eat well - home cooked meals that include veggies, don't eat much junk food, don't smoke, excersise regularly, don't drink too much too often, not a regular drug taker. I look after my body and mind and like being around people who do the same. I'm not going to have too much in common with a bloke who sits on the couch drinking beer and smoking joints while I'm off at the gym. I'm probably not going to be attracted to his outlook or his body. He will probably think I'm a bit of a health nut or a snob anyway. ( disclaimer... I do like a beer and pizza night in front of the Telly, just not very often.)

I agree with Awesome's definition but I also think of healthy (in the RHP community) as excellent personal hygiene, pride in your appearance, safe sex and environment - consideration for yourself and others......

I think mr Diesel..... The most important factor is what it means..... to you. I say that as while I know how I choose to apply it to my own lifestyle and attitudes, I dont feel that applying my own criteria of what health to others is very fair or reasonable. Hygiene..... different story. DG- Posted from rhpmobile

since you asked, I think it is perfectly reasonable to give my opinion.Healthy to me is pretty much what Awesome71 described, I don't expect model type figures and I certainly don't regard gym sculpted bodies as necessarily healthy, indeed protein powder and tuna is hardly a healthy diet. Basically it's about balance in lifestyle, fun and attitude. Someone who can do some physical activity (aside from sex), and can indulge in a decadent meal now and again for the pure pleasure of it.

I would imagine that most people on here would specify healthy, as a pure physical statement, some...eg like myself would be looking for a sound mental disposition as well.. and lol to madotara a heart attack would be a bit of a mood breaker.
