Don’t get one based on what others might think about it. I like tattoos on a man who is comfortable wearing them, and got them because they mean something to him. If like uninked skin on a man who is comfortable wearing it.

Get a tattoo because you want a tattoo. Don't get something just to impress the ladies, get something that means something personal to you I have the molecular symbols for serotonin and dopamine tattoed on my wrists. They represent positivity and ambition and fit in well with my hedonistic lifestyle.

there will be some that like it and some that don't. Personal tastes are so variable, you'll never get a consensus from women about tattoos on guys. The most important factor to consider is what you want and what you will be comfortable having on your body for the rest of your life. Don't consider what other people like, what you think will look cool, or the fads that can exist around tattoos, I did that when I was younger and ended up recently getting a cover up for that one. Yeah I know our tastes can change over the years but I think a well thought out, well researched tattoo that's really based on your own preferences will generally be something you'll be much less likely to change your mind about a few years later.

I love good quality tattoos but others are right in saying they are highly personal, so get what works for you. What are you considering? Where on your body? Personally I like sleeves on a man, half or full.

This is a bit of a secret, but I will tell you...because I am a nice guy. Woman love Dick'n'balls tattoos. If you are short on cash, just get a friend to draw one in pen right on your forehead. They really work wonders. Women will be lining up to meet you.

I guess you firstly need to realise, tattoos are not a chick magnet, secondly not all woman like tattoos and thirdly every one had different tastes. LOLing at some of the comments above, but that would have to be the biggest wtfhid (what the fuck have I done) moment after a breakup I love sleeve tatts but don't guys usually build up to that? Start with one arm, maybe short sleeves for summer lol then make the decision if you want to the other one done or not. Agree it's personal though, do it for you, own it and be comfortable in it, sexy as hell

Consider this - tattoos were once a symbol of rebellion, the ''outcasts'' of society were the only ones to be seen (or brave enough to be seen) with them. Nowadays, every person and their dog has a tattoo. A couple of friends and I were talking a few months back, we were the only people at this particular pub with no tattoos. It brought us great pleasure to realize that we were actually the rebels. You want to stand out from the crowd? Perhaps an even better conversation point with any prospective partner would not be about your tattoos, but how you are man enough and unique enough not to have any at all. Having said that, I do actually want a tattoo - but I am waiting for my 50'th jaunt to Graceland to get myself an awesome Elvis tattoo in celebration.
