What money can’t buy?

May 20 2019

Hi all , I’ve been a forum lurker for while and after reading the forums of so many different topics and responses , were all very different and have many different wants and needs . Apologies if this topic has been covered My forum question is , “What’s something you would dearly love but money can’t buy? “ Health in my eyes is obvious for us all and money can’t be included. My something is a friend , a mate , someone that is always there for you , a close confidant that one can talk and laugh with thru thick and thin . I’ve never experienced a true friend and some may laugh and scoff at that remark . I don’t think $ can buy friendship and if it can I don’t believe they are true friends but like I said were all different with so many different needs and wants . Thanks for hopefully reading and responding . Cheers. - Posted from rhpmobile

You can't pay someone to give you the feeling of strength and power that comes from persevering through adversity and completing something that is difficult. That has to be earned the hard way.

A place with no money where love and caring are the currency, living in a sub tropical tribal society in perfect harmony with Mankind and Mother nature. I dont want a lot, just the simple things.

Is something that is built gradually. You have to put yourself out there and amongst it to receive. Then there are plenty to try and take it off you. It's a fragile thing, easily dented but something once experienced, heavily valued and appreciated.

FREEDOM. No amount of currency can buy that empowerment. When one has the right relationships and no longer cares what anyone thinks of them and allows room for person growth. That is priceless. No Foxy

"What’s something you would dearly love but money can’t buy?" I'm grateful that I already have much of many things money can't buy such as health, good friends, good family, many personal freedoms etc. I'd say basic, perhaps old fashioned romantic, vanilla dating activities with an individual someone, like going to the movies, out for dinner, cuddles in front of the TV, a +1 for other social occasions or travel etc. Technically, money can get you this person, or more correctly, can errmm... rent/hire this person haha at several hundred per hour, but I am talking about free mutual interest leading to a good old chemistry etc. Having more money, owning your own house/s etc can make you more attractive to some*, but the old saying, and Beatles lyrics " I don't care too much for money, for money can't buy me love" still rings true.

I been lucky enough to have had 1 really close friend all my life ... We played together as kids before we went to kindergarten. To this day we still talk every other day.. We talk to each other about anything and everything without fear or favor. I think im a extreemly lucky man as i dont know anyone within my circle of friends having a friendship that long.. so yeah, its something money cant buy...

Money as they say...is the root of all evil... It can provide 'Power' which only corrupts... Is only ever useful for the Tangible aquisition of such... All that we hold dear in our lives... The things that make life worth living... All are Intangible...Earned only by our own actions... Enjoyment in life is 'free of charge'... And that's the way it should be...
