What's a small gesture that you appreciate?

August 16 2018

So I read a series of tweets where someone asked what small gesture does your partner do that you appreciate. Specifically small in nature, but you appreciate it, to you it's a nice thing to do. Doesn't necessarily mean sexual, just simple little things you like that they do. A few things I've done that's been appreciated in the past is when I used to work late I'd always cook and make my previous partners meals so they don't have to when they got me from work. During winter Jumping into a cold bed I'd warm it up for them first. Opening doors etc. It can be anything, this isn't just for partnered people it could be for FWB.

In the shower recently as I sobbed for a bit... So many small loving moments that I thank him for every day, including going to work. Driving through peak hour, he does that for us. Peachy

He does so many things for me. Sending me sweet messages and phone calls when he's away for work. Cooking for me. Hugs and kisses. Taking me away for romantic weekends and short breaks. And most importantly allowing me to be truly myself and grow sexually. 😊😊😊😍😍😍💚💚💚 - Posted from rhpmobile

One of my exes loved to pore over my body in search of blackheads, then squeeze them when she found them. She had the lightest touch while she was looking for them, not so much when she found them. It was a mix of mostly pleasure with the odd bit of pain. In exchange I would give her Dutch Ovens. A nice little arrangement really.

Had a discussion with a lover about how penguins search for a pebble for females and mate for life. Low and behold, next visit they gave me (beautifully gift wrapped) a DVD of Happy Feet. I thought that was thoughtful and sweet. Ms Foxy

Between breakfast in bed on occasion, buying my favourite chocolates whilst out supermarket shopping, sending me texts throughout the day telling me he's thinking about me, household chores while I'm out for the day, kissing and cuddling. There is a lot more I could add but really love the feeling of being loved, in love and desired 💕 - Posted from rhpmobile

Small gestures mean the biggest things to me. Things that show they take the time to care or listen. Thoughtful gestures mean so much more than a material gift. I love a coffee made for me in the morning, and remembered how I take it. Booking a favourite restaurant or food you’ve mentioned Turning up with a bottle of wine and nibbles A text during the day to say they were thinking of you A massage if they noticed your back sore Sadly, these are far and few between, maybe why I appreciate and enjoy doing them for my man as well. - Posted from rhpmobile

Once a solid platform is created ... some of my favs are .....to do 1. Booking a nice restaurant.. 2. Picking a wildflower as u stroll down to the beach ... 3. Morning coffee and croissants 🥐 in bed .. 4. Giving massages & playing with your girls hair whilst chilling on the couch on a movie night .. It's the little priceless ( non materialistic) things that go a long way ..

I would come home from a gig late, and by the time I lugged the gear in from the car, peeled off what I had been wearing, took off the heels & face paint, I'd be spent. Finding that little gesture of thoughtfulness meant that was thinking of me right before he climbed into bed, I found that very special. Another time (more recently) a former lover helped me blow wave my hair when I was getting ready go out for a family dinner but was not feeling well. Small acts of intimate kindness like thst that are diamonds. . - Posted from rhpmobile
