What's missing in this picture, and what should be?

So many profiles, so many pictures! It's interesting to see what people do and don't put in their galleries (both public and private) while trying to get a bite. We have some (probably harsh of us) items that if seen in a pic on a profile are an instant deal breaker, some things that put us off, and make us less interested in the profile, and also some things that are missing from the profile that would actually increase our interest. Weather public or private gallery, what are some things that make you say: (a) hard no (B) I'm losing interest (C) why isn't that in any photos?? We'll go first. (a) a fish. Photos with your kids or anyone who's not you. A toilet. Cigarette. (B) animals. Yeah your dog is cute but how does she fit into your sexy journey? We imagine you'll turn up to the date clothes covered in fur. Dirty mirror - lovely selfie you have, but please clean the toothpaste splatter from your mirror first😁 (C) your teeth.- smile and show em off. Your man - couples profile with only pics of her.

Hard No. A dick pic as the main profile pic. Losing interest. Background mess, toilet view, a single guy posing with female toiletries and make up in the bathroom. Fish trophy. Whats not in the pic. A face. I have a face pic and expect the same, I dont care if you are a politician, dentist or the Queen of the Desert. Fabulous profile photos, by the way!

Giraffes, Pics with Giraffes in them are a no go. :-) Sorry couldn't resist. Your photos are amazing and no wonder you both look incredible. Love the shot on the dressing table. Shells xx

I don't disagree with anything in your post, all are turn offs me also. I'll also add that I don't like pics posted where its a group of people and the user has just put emojis over the other people and people's LinkedIn profile photos lol.... This one I find hilarious and have recognised quite a few familiar faces while scrolling 🤦

(a) Don't think I have a hard no as people are different in real life and can surprise you when you meet. (b) Constant pics of just bodies and lingerie. Generic about you and looking for (c) Definitely couples profiles without couple photos

I've discovered that the thing I am most attracted to is a nice smile, with lingerie a close second. For me, a nice photo where I can see your full face with a nice smile is an instant attraction. Never thought about my hard no, but definitely those torture kind of devices are a turn off for me. Also a fish or any other dead animal. Can't stand photos with really bad lighting and I agree about the couple photos that only show one person. Your photos are amazingly well done. Some of them even they seem professionally done?

I don’t really have an issue with what people have as profile pictures. I know first impressions yada yada. But I’ve met people whose first impressions have been atrocious but after getting to know them they have been ace. I try to look past the social awkwardness of first impressions.

I don’t have a clear face pic public as I live in a country town and it could impact my work. I am well known in my field. In my PG I have recent full clothed body and clear face shots all recent. No nudity at all. A personal dislike is adults who poke their tongue out. Might be funny to friends and family but not strangers. Photos of young women looking too good to be true and who are seeking men 18-99 and sugar dating are an instant block.

A) two Hands doing the heart shape gesture, standing infront of a headstone doing the peace hand gesture, a head replaced with cartoon character like shreck/Blinky Bill etc (guess which head 🤣) a close up of a dirty butt hole, anything that resembles, lots of body hair pubes amongst the resemblance of off cottage cheese, dandruff or milk/Greek yoghurt, a man wearing a spider man outfit thats 2 sizes too small, last but not least, shirtless mean wearing, tight black bike shorts and crocks, while holding a single red rose; absolute HELL NOOOOO!

In the 'about us' section, the rubber stamp lines that rhp recommends, "sex, my main interest is sex!" .... "I'm shy at first, but once I'm warmed up, I'll blow your mind!" Empty bio. Or a bio that says 'don't know what to write here,' or 'ill come back to this later'. Missing a genuine and original bio is a sure way to never get dates

Great post, I hadn't thought about teeth. We have them, and generally keep them in our mouth 😆, but I'm not sure we have face pics featuring them. We don't show our faces publicly anyways, but need to do some upgrades to our private pics. - Alex

Funny answers. I look at the backgrounds to profile photos almost as much as faces. Truck cabins, toilets, messy bedrooms, 20 year old sheets and any hint that you live in a shed or stationary caravan are libido killers. My backgrounds are a pool villa in Bali, a dance floor in Ibiza and my bedroom. I think that hints at who I am. And I own nice sheets too. Lol.

I can't see the point of close up pics with faces obscured. So....you have hair, wear clothes and might be in a pub..?.?.. that's all we can tell. And yes, for dog's sake, clean your fricken mirrors😒

A) hard no to explicit pics being the first / only pics B) losing interest if you have in your pics, toilets, dead animals ,dirty surroundings eg sheets off the bed or trash on the floor , if you're in an apparent open relationship but your photos are in a hotel room or office etc ( screams I'm actually not in an open relationship to me ) C) hard agree about the smiles, will openly ask now for a smile pic before meeting after once meeting someone who actually had no teeth . Not their fault but also not my preference. Pics without a hat , no one wants to be hat fished 🙂

A) super hairy ungroomed fun zones accompanied by dirty clothes, like they were taken in the portaloo on site (mostly guys but not exclusively!) B) toilet backgrounds, grimy camera lens, mismatched photos like the one from 10 years ago and one from last week that make you look like two different people C) the male partner from couples seeking unicorns!
