OP it is ok to seek help :) Disturbing based on the reader - which may be generally true for everyone, but I think it would be very unusual for someone to truthfully say never. I was going to use the word 'most' but I think it's true for everyone to have hated life at some point of their lives. Death of a friend or family member, the ending of a relationship, the end of their parents marriage, etc, etc. For myself it was the day my parents divorced. Those scars have well-healed except for my pessimistic view on marriage and my very right wing view on relationships - I know as a kid it caused me a lot of stress and sadness that I had never experienced before. So if I was to pick one point in time - that would be it.

We can certainly go through times of gut wrenching grief, sadness and despair, or depression characterised often by a lack of enjoyment of anything, but I don't know if that necessarily fits the description of "hating life". But I don't doubt that some people have feelings along that line, based on things that (continually) happen to them. - Posted from rhpmobile

The Lion King, I was 23. I went to the cinema with a group of residents from the drug rehab I worked at, and at this particular cinema we had the choice between that and Trainspotting. I knew which one I preferred, but seeing the majority of our group was dealing with a heroin addiction... p.s. This was almost two years after the Lion King came out here, and it was dubbed. Dubbed!
