A nice, secluded island somewhere? Personally, I'd rent a sensory deprivation tank for 24 hours or so and just lie in there :).

You could come to my place ;-) Seriously though... I agree with you... for me this year is soo bereft of Christmas spirit it's not funny.. no seriously - it's not funny. I can't even get motivated to go buy my kids some nice things which is a shame. Sure I'll get off my ass and do it because I would not want to disappoint them, but I do agree with you that I think many people are over it all. Keen to see what other answers you get. Wayne x

I would be jumping in the ute and going for a road trip, to my usuall favorite areas, like Jerilderie, Deni, Hay...lol yeah i know your all thinking borirrng, but i like the wide open spaces and the empty road, just me and my thoughts for company. Cheers Nev

Im not a fan of xmas at all.... would love to go somewhere and surface mid january lol My choice of place to go..... hmmm Bora Bora sounds good. Or somewhere like that. Quiet, beaches, cocktails.... serenity.

Take my time, stop at all the little places along the way that catch my attention, sleep in the wagon or rent-a-van, make sure I visit a lot of beaches, including nudie ones, cook lots of simple BB food, and then ... 2 weeks at an island resort doing sweet fa.Aaaahhhhh, heaven.Shame my Christmas is going to be completely the opposite! *Sigh!

Panda Yeh i agree, the whole christmas thing has become a big commercial take. All the same the sharing with family and friends is nice. Although the family thing can seem more effort than what it is worth some times I must admit. As for the friends, I am with them cos I like em and for those I cant be with, well hopefully they feel the luv. But to answer your question, out the bush on a river somewhere, who cares where. No phone and no work - shit GTX message me, I know a good psychologist....lol. Few coldies and just relax, do nothing that you dont want to, and just CHILLLLLLLLLLLL. Cheers Lets xx

Kids of today are more savy & wise of parent 'playtime' ...So Let Loose & do it ... It pays to set boundaries (you & your sister can have a pow wow first) cause we all know how guys get really exited & push the limits . haha Live a little and be in charge ... Some very interesting ideas and i now realise i am not the only one who wants to escape.... I would like to be somewhere isolated.... Some place that has no idea what christmas is.... A place where i can relax,no interruptions of any kind... A well stocked pantry.... An even well stocked bar.... No reason for human contact.... Except for the very sexy,very horny,like minded fb i take with me.... All that giving and recieving..... Now thats what i call the holiday spirit. xxxpandaxxx
