anyone with whom I could personally identify, would be too unremarkable to be a historical figure. I admire the many nameless people who work to improve the lives of the sick or less fortunate, not for their own gain, but simply because they believe it's the right thing to do. I also admire boobs.

Identify with any historical figure, I'm my own person. The person I most admire, still living, would be my little brother. Such a good man, it must of been my influence.

Not for me. I'd identify more with that guy who lived sometime in the past in a nondescript place, doing something not exactly newsworthy. He lived a simple life and tried to do the right thing, treating humans and animals the way he wanted to be treated. A simple guy, but a decent one. I think.

usually means you would have created or discovered something, did or planned or were part of something worthy of historic value. Unfortunately, I haven't done any of these except being master of my own universe . Does that count? Who do I admire the most: My partner who continues to live an extraordinary life full of adventure, variety, ambition and is humble, kind and generous in all he does. He is my rock. I'd like to add that he has the sexiest mind and body too ... LG

Who she is: Italian heiress, muse, and patroness of the arts, Luisa Casati Stampa di Soncino, Marchesa di Roma captivated Europeans for decades and has since inspired painters, authors, fashion designers and moviemakers with her eccentric lifestyle. Why she's scandalous: She was known for strolling with leashed cheetahs in nothing but a fur coat, wearing live snakes as jewelry, and throwing outlandish parties with nude servants gilded in gold and wax mannequins seated at the dining table. She inspired Cartier’s Panther design, is the namesake behind the Marchesa fashion house, and is said to be the inspiration behind many novel and movie characters. So clearly I am not as wild but damned if I haven't been picturing wild dinners and sex parties just like that for years. I think I would have liked the Marchesa.

My historical figure, I wish it was Janis Joplin but it's more realistically Elizabeth I. I'm still in love with Malala Yousafzai. I admire her to hell.
