It is has been my experience that men have this one big love and you will never measure up to this women if you are the lady after her. She is the lingering ghost, he will always be sensitive to this big love. It has been many a man that have written the most beautiful plays ,heartfelt poetry, memorable love songs that we all reasonant with I do not believe that men are more or less sensitive than ladies - this is a generalisation as of course we are all shaped by our experiences. I think men express their sensitivity that us ladies at times do not comprehend. I am sure that they say the same to be said about us

I believe it has a lot to do with how and in what kind of environment someone is raised, man or woman.

I think more men are prepared to pretend to be sensitive if they think it will make a woman like him, but I think women's brains are wired more towards emotion than a mans. - Posted from rhpmobile

I agree with MWK2014. Not gender specific at all. - Posted from rhpmobile

Some great generalisations from me coming up! Boys are often brought up to be a man, stop crying, harden up, and this is perpetuated throughout their teens in their peer groups. Girls do have some of this pushed on to them, but not to the same extent. Consequently, men have had learned to suppress their emotions, and so do not show their sensitive side unless you have their great trust. Unless of course, they have rejected and unlearned their upbringing. That is a journey that personally I am finding hard, but very rewarding.

I don’t want to make any huge generalizations about women, I’m not here to do that, it’s—it’s vulgar! But all I’ll say is that they have no feelings.Because it’s actually men, you’ll find, who are the far more romantic. Men are the people you will hear say,“I’ve found somebody. She’s amazing. If I don’t get to be with this person, I’m fucked. I can’t carry on, no I mean it, she’s totally transformed my life. I have a job, I have a flat, it means nothing. I can’t stand it, I have to be with her. Because if I don’t, I going to end up in some bedsit, I’ll be alcoholic, I can’t—I can’t walk the streets any more.” That—is how women—feel about shoes.

I like a man who isn't afraid to show his emotions - that takes a strong man to do that! There is nothing more attractive then seeing a man being inlove with his partner n putting his love for her first and seeing him love his kids... I'm so glad mr cheeky is like this xxx - Posted from rhpmobile

"There is nothing more rare and beautiful than a man being unapologetic for showing their true self and comfortable with their perfect imperfections, to me that's the true essence of beauty." Foxy

As much as I hate to admit it, I think you might be right to a degree - my experience tells me men have BIG loves - can't comment from the female perspective though. I proposed to my ex after four months! Men are trained to not seem as emotional as women, and just to crack on through all sorts of things. We had a stillbirth in 2001, and I was tearing myself up inside when on the outside I was the 'public' face of getting things done, and providing support to the other half through the process. I remember driving to work a month or so later (about 45 minutes' drive at the time) and having to pull over to have a God-almighty sook for ten minutes or so. I don't want to speak for all the blokes here because I can't, but I'm the quintessential alpha male - but the emotions are still there. Alpha Male out!!! - Posted from rhpmobile

I have met a few who now don't have their wives / girlfriends / partners and just feel the need to talk to an open ear............ I agree with MWK2014 generally it is not gender specific....... Too many of my girlfriends are NOT what is perceived as the girly type........... I do believe the older we get, the more we don't worry what others think of us.

there are a lot of lonely men out there, I see them all the time in here, just wanting to chat with someone who isn't one of the boys and also in the shop. Many are quite grateful that I have listened to them and sometimes I think they surprise themselves how much they tell me! I have quite a few guys who see my car at work and pop in just to say hello. I am not a typical emotional woman, I don't cry at the drop of a hat and I am pretty evenly keeled in temperament (unless you piss me off). I am quite hard when it comes to some things and I just get on with things when shit happens.

I thought you were talking about a woman madly in love with a man. ... Just replace the 'shoes'at the end with 'sport'. - Posted from rhpmobile

Mr cheeky loves when I cuddle him - anywhere - he loves affection and I love giving it to him... I chat to men via txt or in person and my personal trainer is a prime example of a man being sensitive - 30yrs old, 2 children, yes he's attractive in all aspects, however he tells me so much about what he is going through, gone through, how can he be a better person - so underneath this mans musclly body, good looks - is a boy trying to ask for help!
