I take it you've met someone who isn't what they said they were? Unfortunately that's what happens when you go online. I'm a prudish size 8 with long red hair and age 21,but I can say that because I'm safe behind a screen. Just remember people lie here and in real life. You just have to keep trying. By the way what size is average in your eyes?

People lie!! I am 44, I am s size 14 so I would say average, my libido is through the roof so I would say nympho. However I have guys lie about their age to be in a woman's looking for range, do they think we are stupid when they say they are 40 and look 60!! Is the only thing I have on my profile. Hubby knows I play separately, I'm extremely horny and those that have played with me will attest to that! Im 48, range from a size 12-14, am curvy, have scars but I'm me. What you see is what you get. Chev, you are talking from your experience as a man, as a woman why do men lie, to get into my pants! My disappointment stems not from the lies (they are easy to spot) but because men use my profile as a means to have me initially. Though many men would say it and love the 'whore' they get in the bed but reality (my experience) is that very few know how to deal with me out of bed. Yes I'm married, but where most men 'fail' for me is in the after care. Dishonesty will get you nowhere. I know guys who have met women who were dishonest about their age or weight and they simply told them that they were not going to stay for the date. Im 52 and it says that on my profile. Im not super skinny or svelte so I have average for body size. I have playful for my mood because I like playing! Im sure I would probably get more attention if I said I was in my 40s, but why lie? My pics were all taken in the last 6 months. I was talking to a handsome blonde haired young guy (according to his photos) with a very toned body. One afternoon I noticed him in the chat room on cam. I clicked on his cam and lo and behold....a short round guy with long dark hair obviously a lot older than the fake pics in his profile. I whispered my surprise to him and he disappeared. If I met someone who had blatantly lied about themselves I would probably have one coffee/drink to be polite and then make an excuse and leave. Honesty is very important as far as I am concerned.

I do not see the point in telling lies about yourself. be honest because you will be found out at some stage. I think everyone wants to read a correct profile

Age is different to weight , if you are 50 there is no changing it, weight well depends on persons height as to how they carry the weight plus it also depends on what one see's - Posted from rhpmobile

Someone might say size 18 is average, because size 16 is the average dress size for Australian women. 18 is next size up so close to average. Who knows why anyone lies about their age. I met a guy for coffee once who claimed to be 50 but had to be late 60's, early 70's. I've always stated I'm a larger woman. I say my looks are average. I also insist we exchange photos before meeting now because I have seen disappointment on a man's face and I have felt disappointment. Even photos won't tell us everything about someone and disappointment could still ensue but they at least let us see who we are meeting.

are a lot of profiles that I look at whether it be couples or single ladies and the description of their body always gives me a wry smile. If you have pics posted and you call yourself athletic when your body looks anything but, it does appear quite silly. These people need to be honest with themselves more than anything.

You say "Size 18 is not average and 40 is not 40 if you are 48" Regarding your first statement "Size 18 is not average" - did you know that in 2012 it was identified that over 100million women in the US are size14 and above http://www.businessinsider.com.au/why-isnt-plus-size-bigger-2012-12 Did you know that in the UK 25% of all women were size 18? (http://www.dailymail.co.uk/femail/article-1302673/The-larger-woman-A-quarter-women-size-18-bigger.html - look at the graph) Yes 25% is not the majority but it is indeed becoming more AVERAGE. Did you know that the sizing of dresses and tops (that is where this mania of numbers is coming from) goes from 8 to 34 - so on that scale 18 is easily a median? Did you know that the size of the clothing worn has not link to a person's BMI, which is, whilst considered to be inaccurate, is still the most accepted measure of one's "size"? BMI over 25 is generally considered to be overweight but there is also obese and extremely obese categories as well as underweight categories. You can have an weightlifter listed as overweight because their BMI will be over 25 and most likely they will be wearing clothes over size16. Of course you can choose your play partners based on their dress size , that is your right, but then don't be offended if others decline you for various other reasons you might not ever had the chance to comply with (such as having 1 eye grey and 1 green) Dress size in some cases is given - you will never be able to change your skeleton and fit into a size14 top if your shoulders are wide and only fit size18. A little bit of flexibility and compassion would go a long way in our society :)

My apologies in advance for what I'm about to say next. But this is a silly topic. To the poster - you know why people lie. I can't imagine you're THAT naive. People aren't perfect. People are flawed...and not just physically. But to embellish a little, say we're not as flawed as we actually are, and hope someone will still accept our more flawed selves at the end, on here is better than not trying at all. It's not necessarily right...but you know why they do it... And now this thread will just be an excuse for people to put their hand up and say "not me...not me! I would never lie...I'm one of the REAL ones". We get it. Everyone on these forums are holier than thou. I'll have to be the first one here to say, openly, I have a couple of porky pies told on my profile. I'll admit it. My reasoning behind it isn't the traditional one though - in trying to get laid in 30 minutes, in fact quite the opposite. But, the lies are there. I guess I'm a terrible person... As always, due diligence is your friend...

Time is relative - Einstein already proved that Age is a reflection of time spent in the world of living therefore age is relative There are some 40year olds who act and live their life as a 35 year old, there are some 48year olds who live and spend their days as 56year olds and there are some 48year olds who are acting like 45year olds. If someone says on their profile they feel like 40 and confident they can "pass" for a 40year old then why would it matter what is on their birth certificate? A different matter is when someone says they are 40 but are 55 and look every day of 55years..

Either that or there are some seriously tired looking 24 year olds out there. This kinda bothers me a little too. I'm still looking for someone with a sexual appetite to match mine... So much so that i think its a deal breaker if she comes without it(well maybe not, but the other facets will have to make up for that lack and i will just get by on porn. Considering how rare it is for me to hook up with anyone it'd be a damn shame if i also had to sift through assorted liars. It makes my prospects even more grim than they are now. By the way, if anyone wants to, I'd love to know how old people think i look, because I'm starting to get greys, but honestly i still feel mid 20's. Not here, messages please, I've been guilty of hijacking threads before and its rude.

Sometimes people say one thing, yet act another. It can be very hard to know which is the reality. Is conscious thought the truth, or is the truth subconscious and unknown. It is in the end action that tells the truth, not words. Words are empty if not backed by the truth of action. If you want truth then look for action, the reality that speaks louder than words. We try for the ideal, we say yes the truth we believe we know, its not a lie. We can only hope that it is real when the time of action comes about. I will always look for truth in action, all the rest is just idealized hopes, not false but just thoughts. The body does not lie, say no while the subconscious you says yes, the words from the mouth are "NO" while the movement of the head is a nod. Both are not a lie, but only one is the truth.

You don't mean to say the women are fibbing just a little do you, Mr Chev? Oh dear, that is just terrible. We girls are going to have to lift our game, don't you think? Maybe all female profiles should be passed to you Mr Chev, so that you can vet them for honesty and say "No, no my dear, you are not average, you are FAT, and you look wayyyy older than what your birth certificate is saying".
