Why no parties in Adelaide?

July 26 2018

We are interested in visiting parties as part of our dipping the toes in the water, being rank newbies. We see lots of events in the eastern states, plenty of clubs as well. Perth, with not much larger population has heaps too, but Adelaide? No clubs, no parties, no events. Yes we know their are a few small house parties but where's the big stuff? Is the scene here just too small? Is it SA laws that prevent sex on premises clubs? Right now we are looking at a trip to Melbourne for what we would like to see. Anyone know the reasons? Thanks Waffles_N_Whimsy

Maybe we can take over the emptying churches?

People seem to reside here, are they living? Maybe not. But with 100 pages x20 couples listed in Adelaide i would have thought there would be at least one regular place.

The scene is very underground. Most think what if a relative saw me swinging? There are a few small meet and greets there that I have been in the past. Sometimes they organizers book out small motels near coastal towns and have a small swing convention over the weekend. There is a scene but it is not as open like here in PERTH or the East Coast

A couple of years ago for the national meet and greet. Even the police got involved......

Yes indeed. Perth has about 700,000 more people, perhaps being on the far side of the country, they are more independant minded people than our still stuck in time little city of churches. So i guess it's head to Melbourne for dirty weekends then.

I love Adelaide, have a friend who lives there that I go and see every year. It is not known to be a raucous place of fun and excitement though. Sex on premises venues are legal in SA, I have been to one but sadly it involves only those who have dangly bits between their legs. Maybe you should try and organize a meet'n'greet night yourself - advertise it on here and swinger sites. I think you'd probably be surprised at the level of interest.
