Why would my profile be locked?

RHP locks your profile after it's been edited until they have a chance to review the changes and approve them. Peachy

Once you edit your profile the RHP mods need to reveiw what you've written to ensure you aren't giving out information they don't want you to. Like email address etc.

I want to reply to my messages. Profile says it's not locked anymore but still can't reply to messages :(
