A means to an end .., Is this a scenario like the one where a “single” guy advertises for females (any female , even a complete stranger) to accompany him to couples only swinging events / clubs / parties , simply as a way to get in as a couple, after which (once he has got his foot or would that be schlong, through the door) he can then revert back to a “single” male and start making a pest of himself ????

Exactly right Xanthea! I've jad great friends in the past who have been wingmen, it's exciting, intense and a lot of women get turned on by the fact that were mates and we know each other's strengths amd weaknesses.. I for one thought he was after a female wingman as does 20000 other guys. Clear and concise wins the day. As for trolls, l find the biggest trolls are those that pop in out of nowhere shouting "troll!" That's a very common wording on here, particularly in profiles. However, I agree that it could be badly worded. Words do matter and such wording carries a subtext that should not be used if it is not meant to be implied. Much like using "you" when what is actually meant is "one" or even "I". I have been pulled up myself on this one in the past and after making myself conscious of it I found that I was more a more effective communicator and was better able to build rapport. Don't underestimate the power of subtext. In this instance the subtext is that the OP is positioning themselves as the dominant member of the proposed partnership which is reinforced by the wingman terminology. It's his prerogative to seek such an arrangement and using such wording is an effective way to filter those who would not be interested. It is badly worded if he did not wish to imply this.

I don’t often comment on the forums but thought I would on this one. I don’t think it’s an issue for OP to ask for a wingman. I had one a couple of years ago and we have share many an adventure. Unfortunately, he moved OS and since then I have been looking for another guy to call apon when the situation called for it. It’s been difficult to find someone who I click with actually, so I think putting the call out through the forum is a good way to go. I don’t think the OP needs to be sledged for it....just sayin!
