My entire youth has set me up for my later life. Mixed with the wrong people for me so never really got to be with true peers so that left me in limbo for a very long time. The thing I find so amusing is some of the ways I spent my youth thinking this was the best thing to do has turned around and bitten me on the arse. Cheers for letting me get that out Freya No complaints mind you as life is life and there are so many others that just don't even have that it seems

No I was pretty well behaved when I was young. These days I'm just making new skeletons every day. ;-) I don't consider Cameron putting his cock in the mouth of a dead pig bestiality though. A TV series called Black Mirror featured an episode in 2011 about a maniac forcing the British pm to fuck a living pig on live TV, or a young woman would die,so I suspect the story isn't that new. Worth watching though, and by no means a funny episode.

There usually was very disturbing initiations in many fraternity houses and in the navy/army/airforce cadets etc for many yrs. A lot of it has been stopped now. But a few decades ago it was the norm. Im not agreeing with it but it wasnt uncommon

I find defiling the body of a dead animal disgusting personally. This incident allegedly happened when Cameron was a student, and was being initiated for some club. I must say my problem is much more with initiations like that (and hazings) than the actions of an individual. In my view it takes a very strong person, when put in a situation like that, to say no, at the risk of becoming an outcast. Besides the original question in the OP, I think with this story in mind another would be: "Have you ever done anything you didn't want to, but felt forced to because of peer pressure?" My answer to that question would have been different. Perhaps something for a different thread, sorry if this was too far off topic.

I've seen some "hilarious" things done to hog roasts at weddings, as if the apples stuffed in the poor pig's mouths and sunglasses on their snouts weren't bad enough.

I'm not excusing Cameron's behaviour, though seeing he's now 48, "piggate" would have happened, say, 25 years ago. I think (hope) he's matured enough since then to be a responsible adult. I certainly wouldn't do half the stupid things I did at that age and I don't think my past actions define me as a person. :-)

Most of the episodes were pretty disturbing on some level and a lot of the events /scenarios in them could very well happen in real life. Definitely held a mirror up to our society and where it's possibly headed.
