Yeah i have had this happen on more than one occasion and even from time to time i come accross one in the chat room who has blocked me even though i have never spoken to them, I dont really dwell on it i just figure they have thier reasons and move on I dont take it personally who knows why people do the things they do??(guess maybe i am just too offensive for some lol)

the odd part is ,i though t o block someone you had to view their profile to do it ..there are heaps that ive view or tried to and not been able because im blocked but there no record of them ever viewing me..

So it probably stops them looking at you as well? Maybe this is just how they filter?It should be pointed out, that if you want to see what people have been posting in the forums, going to their profile is the best way. I sometimes wonder if people realize that's what some folk are doing when they visit a profile.. It's probably why the last 16 of 20 views of my profile are men.. ~rolls eyes~

how do you if your being blocked? do you get a message saying you have being blocked? or does there profile just say its unavailable? i wonder if we have being blocked lol its abit extreme imo.. just for looking at someones profile , geez ...

i think we all have been blocked at some stage or blocked someone... it makes no diff realy does it as you were never going to meet or whatever so they just save you from wasting your time on them Job done

You can set your profile so it never shows who you have viewed and you can set it so you never show as online ...I have mine set for both of these. I have a couple of people on my block list and am pretty sure Im on a few as well. My block list are serial pests who wont stop messaging and/or flirting me after Ive rejected them too many times. If youve blocked someone you can still look at their profile they just cant look at yours. Oh and if youve given someone access to your PG then decided to block them they can still see the PG just by clicking on the link in the messages you have exchanged - you need to remove their access to stop them from looking there. This profile is unavavilable message is a pretty good sign youve been blocked This profile is locked by user or for reveiew message is that theyve made some changes and its still in the approval process. I only have to post a very honest comment on the forums and 'BAM' a nasty message in my inbox. Can't reply ofcourse, 'cause I've been blocked.

I wouldn't take it personally... I could only imagine how many creepy people there are lurking RHP and the people blocking you are probably doing so because they have had their fair share of creepy crawlies.

i THOUGHT.....when I have tried to click on someone in Chat.. and it comes up.. saying "you're blocked tosser.. fck OFF" I THOUGHT it was because at some time, they were on cam, and blocked EVERYONE - EXCEPT the person they were camming for.. *shrugs* Apart from that.. "Who gives a fck??" RHP has about 2000000 members.. "NEXT" :) Fck.. you go down to the pub, and go to say "Hello" to some chick... every now and again, doesn't ONE of them tell you to FCK off???

That seems a mite unfair.. Quoting 'MrsPeachyPear' Blocking isn't a two way thing as such LRE. If I block someone, it stops them from looking at my profile, on the flipside last I was in the chat room, it stopped me from from being able to read what they say in there. What a pity it is that you can't see when I look at thee hehehe.

I just take it as added entertainment as people block for all sorts of reasons, the only ones I have ever wondered about are people I chatted to on and off who suddenly block, all very strange as I always try to be polite, but in the end I do not care that much what anonymous strangers do on a web site, life is way to short to worry about these small details that really have no impact on my life. Treat the site as it should be, a fun place that provides some entertainment.

You can also disable the ability of others to see if you have viewed them.1. Go to edit profile/settings on your home page.2. Then in the Profile Preferences box click on the general settings link.3. Then under the visability & privacy settings check the do not let members know that I have viewed their profile box.4. Apply the changes and voila you can profile surf without the worries of being blocked as a stalker lol.

I have blocked some men, only a couple. The reason being it was as though they were "stalking" my profile. Thats what it felt like. 6 or more times a day all week and not even a flirt or message?? See you later mate. For starters, Im not what theyre looking for , and they're not what Im looking for. I dont mind men looking at my profile, even though the situation is what it is. But when it's several times a day, day in day out without contact, then that is just plain weird to me.

we havent been blocked by anyone that we are aware of, and have only blocked a couple ourselves.....we figure that if they want to look, then thats quite ok, even flattering, judging by some of the very nice comments we've both received.....
