Being told by a judge at a show, that the animal I thought was the best one I'd ever bred, was better than everything else in the ring, but he couldn't award her first place as she was too small. (She was 7 mths old, her competition was 15 -18 mths old.) But had she have been of equal age, she would have won Supreme Exhibit of the Show. His choice on the day, but that is something I'll never forget. Being told I am loved by someone I've been waiting to hear it from. Standing in a paddock watching the sun go down, and knowing that all is right in my world. The love and respect of my children. Laughing with my friends till I'm almost sick. Chubby Bunny!!!! Sharing deepest feelings with the One for whom they are meant. The unexpected gift of a potted plant I found on my desk last night from my housemate. I'm sorry finger, but to me, sex is fabulous, and I'm addicted, but there are things that stay in my memory longer than a good orgasm. The above list could go on and on, but those are some of the things that I personally find better than sex. Maybe I'm just weird or something... Viking.

When you drop your caviar on toast and it lands the 'good-side' up. Oh, and when there's a car and trailer sized parkin space when I'm at the local mall in the Bentley. When, my aquiline but aristocratic nose looks small in the mirror. When I'm in a landing queue in the Cessna, and the two planes in front run outa fuel. When ones cravat stays in position ALL day long. When the gout only affects one big toe. When ones offshore holdings double in price overnight. Being with my grand daughter and seeing and hearing her laugh and chat(She's only 1). Listening to the song of a golden whistler while in the forest. Being in the forest at dawn and hearing the dawnsong. Watching the sun rise over the ocean. Hearing a piece of music that brings tears to my eyes because it is so beautiful. Creating a piece of art that I feel satisfied by. Listening to a story told by a master storyteller. Making love is better than sex. Having that totally intense connection that is so deep that when you make love you feel a spiritual merging and after the physical act is over you are so entwined emotionally and spiritually it takes ages for either of you to be able to move. Yep Finger, sex is good for sure AND its not the whole of my life. Cheers WildT

1. Putting a smile on other peoples faces. 2. Helping people out. 3. Seeing my kids. 4. Waking up to my beautiful Fiance next to me in the mornings. 5. Seeing her when i walk through that door after a days work. Makes everything go away. 6. Laughing. Lasts longer than sex. lol.

I am married and have kids and grandkids, and spend so much more time sharing time with them, be it on the phone, in person, and hearing my grandsons call me grandma is just heart melting. sex you can get any time , but quality time with loved ones is something to treasure as things can change in a heartbeat. Yeah Hagar, just the thought of all those nasty capitalists and rednecks in the deep South and Mid West, sitt'n on their porches, shin'n ther shotguns, curs'n the black "antichrist" gives me untold pleasure. But seriously, the changes that should occur in the world thanks to the new "leaders" of the Western world (not that I agree with hierarchical systems of government) should be quite interesting. Sex is great but it's over when it's over. But lasting paradigm change is very exciting and gives me much joy.

The thing is how can one answer your question without defining 'sex'. We have solo sex, couples sex, oral sex, anal sex, 3some sex, 4some sex, group sex, same sex, bdsm sex and so on. In those spaces there are degrees of good and bad. In my marriage with my X I had 15 minutes to get it on and off and that was bad sex. A release at best, just like a quick wank. Many of the responses from other posters are better than that sex. Now with Venus I have the best sex and I am afraid I have to say nothing comes close to the pleasure I get from that. The World stops for the time its happening. I dont even answer the phone! There are others pleasures in life of course but none rate above good sex. Its what makes the world turn. Maybe I am just a sex addict. Best of all its free! Mars

To do some thing for an awsome friend.......then seeing thier reaction....seeing them speachless and have tears of happiness and disbelief that you have done that for them. Being with a person that you totally conect with....and having an eight hour conversation with them. Talking about every thing and nothing. The way your face lights up when you see that special someone or hear from them.
