My family is very fortunate to have each other and to be so much more comfortable then many. It's still a both way decision depending on the moment you ask me. . I feel for people who do it hard at this time of the year for whatever reason. There are so many. xoXox .

I'll take the later. I usually make up Xmas hampers for close friends. Something for her, for him with toys for the kids and cookies, candy canes and Xmas pudding. Normally I make about 7 of these for close friends. That means I get to shop a lot love it! It's a bit of work but I like the giving spirit😘

I'm originally from UK, so it hasn't felt like Xmas since we moved here... Too hot lol My memories of Xmas growing up is below zero temps, electricity going off all the time... Snow.... Oh how I miss the snow lol My 12 year old sister is the only good thing about Xmas

I think it depends how prepared I am. If I've done the work and studied, I feel like I'll blitz it. There's no better feeling going into an exam confident!!!

I'll go with Christmas. I didn't grow up with Christmas being about presents and big family get togethers (and turkey), and since I have no family here it frankly doesn't mean all that much to me. My boss is not complaining though, as I've offered to work the whole week. ;-)

I work with many people for whom Christmas is a very dark time, so I think that affects my attitude as well.

But if you're talking about the merry season then I do like it (not so much for Christmas, but for the holidays) as it's the only time of the year all my immediate family get together. Also, it's my dad's birthday the week before so we usually kill two birds with one stone when everyone's here. And it's about the only time my dad lets loose and drinks to his heart's delight. Bless his soul :) But my kids look forward to it for the pressies, of course :P - Posted from rhpmobile

but it is stress. In my line of work we will have the painful heartache after. Peopel dont pay the rent and spent shitloads on useless presents they dont need. Punsh each other senseless after Christmas, and for what? How can anyone get in the " Christmas spirit" when we are running around like headless chooks to perform what? I don't like it what is became.....I know its up to me to not go overboard, but it is very very hard to get out of the pressure of not buying. Even you make a rule not to give presents or only a small one someone always breaks the rule. So no I don't like Christmas anymore. I see how stressful it is after.

Christmas is just for kids . Personally , I can't stand the overblown Commercialism of Xmas , thinly veiled with a Christian message . Thou must spend all of your money , buying presents for people who you wouldn't normally buy presents for & they must be cheap , crappy presents ! God how I hate being told what to do & when to do it . If I want a Family get together or if I want to give someone a present , I'll do it whenever I want to , at any time of year . Bah Humbug ! Can't wait for New Year's Eve ;) GG♒️ - Posted from rhpmobile

It represents and reinforces a particular belief system that I feel very strongly needs a fundamental change in perspective (for so many reasons), more so than any other time frame ... the belief system being that 'family is everything and we are nothing without family and/or friends'.

Hated it when i was a child cos all we did was work as in the kitchen all the time, cleaning up after freakkin lazy family members it was more stressful and the whilst wrking with my siblings in the kitchen out the back, the selfish ass extended fanily members would all be smiley out the front, arseholes But love it now, that I have my own munchkins to celebrate with, we're putting the tree up tomorrow, im gunna start wrapping their gifts cos im a cool mum lolsssss

I'm over it. This year will be the first Xmas in quite a few years without my kids, who are really the only reason I make an effort. I'm very much looking forward to treating it as just another day in the year.

Quoting 'Mischeviouslad' Quoting 'JayJay_66' EXAMS or XMAS? Careful JayJay.... don't want to be accused of being a grammar nazi now do ya.... LOL I would have thought grammar fiends would take context into consideration; the parts of something written or spoken that immediately precede and follow a word or passage and clarify its meaning. "skilled readers use context to construct meaning from words as they are read" . do you love xams or hate it. . Peachy.

MERRY CHRISTMAS!! My twin in America goes bonkers at Christmas...and I mean OBSESSED bonkers! She becomes a Christmas she-devil!! It's craziness - she puts these themed stunning decorated trees up in each and every room of her beautiful Victorian home. Seriously I've never seen such beauty, time and effort put into something. She bakes and bakes and bakes - not just bake as in bake - it's women's weekly themed full on baking! For her it's serious business!! One day I'll get there and celebrate with her - HAHA! she'll drive me bloody MENTAL!! I believe Christmas here is OZ, is nothing like some how some cultures celebrate it. Whoooo hooooo I'll be on leave over Christmas/NY and spending it with someone very very very special. (A VIP) Foxy

Xams, at Xmas!? That's Xtroadinarily un-Xtian! What Xcrement! There's some Xplainin' to do. My xmas tradition has evolved into me alone or with one other cooking big beautiful food from scratch. Sex*. Sleep. Cook. Sex*. Eat. Sex*. Sleep. Watch "Bad Santa" or "Muppet Christmas Carol". Eat. Sex*. Sleep. For 2-3 days. No presents. Just pleasures. *this happens less when I'm alone.

Here was I all excited and aroused at the thought that xams was some new kinky sexual practice I was going to discover until I realised it was meant to be Xmas. Damn! Deflated and disappointed. But I do like Xmas. Despite all the commercialism and stress it is generally a fun joyful time where people treat each other with love and respect.

I like oral xams ;) I love xmas day with my family as my dad comes to town for 1 day and it's the only day everyone seems happy and the sarcasm is on high. I hate the lead up to it all. And the pressure and stress at work leading up to our closedown period is just ridiculous.

Are you going to come clean? Are you talking about Christmas, Exams or Extended Accounts Management Systems? Or are you just sitting back having a giggle at the confusion you've created?
