One day you may find yourself taking it to far, due to some obvious built up anger or resentment you seem to have. Someone could get hurt, both mentally and physically. And then what? Have you seriously considered all the things that can go wrong? And their consequences? I say step away and be happy with what you and Jamie have together. If you don't like your ex (and don't have kids with him, etc) there is no reason for him to be in your life. x

Astrid I believe that engaging in any sort of relationship where one gives over the power to others is something that should not be entered into through resentment. When you have control over someones feelings and physical well being, you should really have their best interests at heart. although not all D/s relationship is based on improving the life of the slave you still have to have the understanding enough and compassion enough to stop before a physical or mental breakdown. With what seems to me as a resentment from you towards the Ex I believe things could end badly not only for you but also for the Ex. Over stepping the mark in D/s play can lead to dire consequences. take a step back and think again. the time and effort required on your behalf to see this thing through could be used better elsewhere.
