No not a turn off. I used to wear glasses all the time but then I had laser eye surgery. One of the best things I ever did. :)

I am practically blind without my specs so I need them all the time. Yes, people might think I am perving at the beach but I can only see a blurry shape. Get a nice pair, take along a sister or some female friends to get an opinion when you try them out. I prefer getting glasses that make me look elegant yet professional. A lot of women have complimented me on it so the right pair of glasses can be a turn on.

since I wear them myself (when I'm not wearing my contacts anyway), it would be a bit hypocritical of me to be turned off by someone else wearing them. And anyway I think they can look very sexy, or at least make someone look more intelligent than they actually are (not a reference to you obviously, OP).

Glasses are so mainstream these days....many even see them as a fashion accessory.I didnt need glasses til I started spending time on the computer, need them for reading and driving now and happy to wear them.A couple of friends of mine (male) dont need them but have a pair with plain lenses (no script) that tranisition to sunglasses outdoors as they like the look of them.Some people have even told me they love it when I peer over the tops of my reading glasses...very hot & sultry apparently.

The right frame is vital. They can give you the geeky nerd look or the sofisticated intellectual persona.Its what you want to go for personally .....I want monacles to make a come back .

..hmm, considering a fantasy of mine relates to the quintessential librarian....the removing of the glasses, letting down of the hair (bun) and the unbuttoning of the blouse..... ...and be sexy. Glasses are the ultimate "costume change". I used to be jealous of guys who had glasses, I wanted some to add a touch of sophistication to my "big lump" persona hahaha! LMAO to inferior genetics. I'd love to think that's sarcasm, but it probably isn't. I'm sure there's a statistic about the rate of vision problems increasing as time passes.... I happen to have a new pair of specs, and may just have to take a pic of my visage sporting them.Note re: those librarian fantasies. As a "bookish girl" in my youth, I latterly found out about the whole "librarian fantasy" thing as a young adult and thought I could make it reality - REALITY -studying to become a librarian (or information management) as it's now called was the most BORING and spirit sapping course of study I've attempted.... *yawn* thoughts of shagging behind stacks- begone or flirting over the latest copy of that erotic novel?? .. no way!;)

I find women who wear gasses quite attracting and sexy as. They just ooze this other type of sexiness, it really enhances their mojo...Take a look at my gorgeous wife wearing them. Absolutely Stunning!

I found it hilarious when wearing dark thick-framed glasses became so 'in' over the last year, and the number of people you see wearing the huge ones with no glass in them - so tempting to poke them in the eye! I needed glasses from a very early age thanks to genetics, and I was ridiculously teased all through primary school; how times have changed.I find a man/woman with the right pair of specs that suit their face and sense of style is hawt. I personally alternate between my specs and lenses, which I save for nights out and the gym.

I had one lady get back to me after looking at my profile and when i asked her what she thought of it and/or had any comments to make ,she said i should dump the pics of me with my glasses hanging around my neck,reckons it made me look like an old fart me an old fart at da tender age of 46 lol,jsk

Glasses are sexy!!! I wear glasses n contact lenses n like them Both... If a person is turned off by someone wearing glasses they need their eyes tested! Or go to spec savers xxx
