But it didn't work for me! I wish it had, but I just couldn't get in to it.

I'm a skeptic, but on the off chance sacrificing a chicken and doing a rain dance gets the result I want in some cases.. well... sorry chicken ;-) While I would have liked to have the "when I click your fingers you will be able to do X" type of experience, it had some improvement in negative thinking during the sports situations I went there for. It was not a great match with the therapist, although I think she was genuinely trying to help, if most of your experience is people wanting help with smoking or eating problems then sport is likely out of your realm. I couldn't find any sports psych people who did hypno as well. I also tried binaural beats combined with hypno. Because mine wasn't a definite "you smoked, now you suddenly don't" situation it is hard to say whether it worked, or I simply had a good performance afterwards. I'd say for some things, if you genuinely think it will help then it might, if not, it won't - I wouldn't expect it to help in the case of quitting something with a physical addiction, no matter how much you wanted it to.

I have used it to give up smoking and honestly can't believe I was ever a smoker. I smoked for over 20 years. My session has a lifetime guarantee to so if ever I sart again I just go back. Best 60 minutes of my time ever invested. Also used it for sever anxiety and crippling panics attacks. Couldn't leave the house it was so bad. That's all gone to. I'm a true believer and would use it again in a heart beat. My sessions involved hypnosis, time line therapy and neuro linguistic programming. The mind is an amazing and powerful thing. - Posted from rhpmobile

The mind is a powerful tool.... .. but with hypnosis you have to have some kind of positive thinking in you to help make it work. . Its all about the power of positive thinking in everything we do.. - Posted from rhpmobile

I was very skeptical of hypnosis, but its the real deal. Mine was performed by a g.p and bulk billed. (Cost $0) a doctor cannot bulk bill something that is just hocus pocus Hypnosis can work for absolutely anyone regardless of how skeptical you may be. Not every hypnotherapist can work for you though. You may need to see quite a few before you the right one. Best thing ive ever done. - Posted from rhpmobile

and maybe a little paranoid. I think hypnotists will steal important information from you when they put you to sleep. I know it's against their profession but hasn't the thought ever crossed your mind, or it must just be me? Lol - Posted from rhpmobile

I was sent too a psychotherapist years ago, when living with some difficult times. I found it easy to go down into hypnosis, as well taught self hypnosis. Truth is Miss Q, it is all about power of self, the therapy of it anyhow. I was taught too take myself into a state of deep relaxation, deeper than sleep and into the conscious of fully aware in a dream state so to speak of it. It has been said, our conscious remembers every step we have taken, every name we have heard, every single piece of knowledge encountered, then we have this thing called imagination and a spirit or soul, our being. Our sub conscious is like a buffer for mediating realities of day to day life in the state of wake and configuring our thoughts and decisions, so on. (life) It is not so easy explaining these types of feelings, so maybe some examples of what I believe a lot of people use this state of self, without even knowing it as hypnosis. Musicians will go too that place within and turn emotions into music, writers will go too that place to see a story, maybe executives go to that place to find complex business solutions for questions, monks will find philosophy, even sex becomes more interesting in such state of mind. Even retraining behaviour, self reflection, and finding demons, so to speak if they are locked deep within. It is quite a fancy thing really. Mado Mado Tara xx

I was a skeptic..... ..... now I understand it, and know better. The principles are relatively easy to learn, and the benefits that communicating with peoples subconscious can deliver can be significant
