We are in a similar situation as you guys, we like to meet couples who are the same as us, and we do have a few couples that we have become friends with. We have bbq etc our kids all get on and its great, then when we all have a night off from the kids we have a good time too. Its refreshing to be able to talk open to your friends about things that you enjoy. We are always open to meet new people.

Yes we agree that finding the time, arranging sitters etc etc does impact on heading out for some fun. But having said that sometimes you have gotta bit the bullet and head out for your own sanity. We drop in for a look most days so drop us a line. Maybe if theres enough interest a meet and greet nite at a pub/park/beach?!? Just someting to think about. Be good have fun....

As reply to the sitters service, BRILLIANT IDEA! We have 4 kids between us and the same time or opportunity problem you all have. We hire a sitter at 20 bucks an hour so we can play. Lets get this happening please! We'll help if Neccesary.

Would love to meet up with similar couples. We have kids too, and no friends that are into "the lifestyle" if you know what we mean so yeh would love to chat and meet. K&T

It has been talked about by many people on rhp about a babysitting service but no ne has done anything about it, i wouldnt know the first thing about it either, maybe red hot pie can umm maybe get involved in this topic and maybe can set something up, cause i know plenty of rhp people would use this service and pay, i think it would go better than most daycare centres out there. food for thought anyways. Maybe a house is allocated and coordinated by some one and then a roster of rhp people can be put in place. We hear ya Shan. We are in the same boat but also Mr is only home every second weekend so that makes things even worse. Throw in a family do in the month and that limits the time down to one weekend a month.. But we try to look on the bright side and make the most of the times we do get to catch up with others from this site. Only another 3 or so yrs and the oldest girl can start babysitting hopefully , lol. xxx

So we are not the only ones :-) It gets a little tricky when you have little ones. We tend to love BBQ's at home or friends, days on the river, nice dinner out somewhere and when we can get a sitter and even let our hair down sometimes. We have met a few ppl off RHP but not many with the same interests.
