What makes someone a nerd?! Their interests?Their focus?Their behaviour?Theyre appearance?A combination...?! Is a nerd even considered a nerd by other nerds?!! Just as there is a Mans man, can there be a NErds nerd?! (like the Village of yillage idiots' own village idiot) hahaha Ive been called a 'nerd' a few times.... when discussing one of my favourite topics. But others have also called it my passion, and discussing my knowledge and understanding of my passions excited those people to the point that it attracted and aroused them. So forget whether you're a nerd or not... because it can be a highly subjective and relative term. Focus on what drives Attraction... ...and that is charm, boldness, integrity and an energy for making YOUR world the best one for you. The reliance upon factors such as muscle, looks and $ is a fallacy. Sure, they can help with the initial visual triggers... ... but if you're failing in the personality department because you lack charm, boldness etc..... its going to get really boring, really fast...... .... and the passionate nerd is going to ignite and energize the emotions of that sexy woman and steal her out from under the male models nose DG

Ultimately OP you have to work on your strengths not your weaknesses. If you can project a healthy, confident, positive and happy approach to life you will attract the right attention regardless of the more "mainstream" traits people usually go for. My english, geography and Multi-strand science teachers all sat up the back corner with me rocking on their chairs and eating my lollies conducting class 😄 needless to say I had excellent results. Nerdy guys, I love em. I'm a bit of a nerdy girl (scrabble anyone?) but yes more muscles, the occasional good haircut and serious attention to personal hygiene would make many nerds much more attractive.

A woman uses the not my type" line..... a little later in the evening.... apparently, I am Because attraction and type preference are not mutually exclusive. One is conditioning, the other is subconscious. Ever found yourself saying "I never normally do this"? or "I cant believe I did that". He still bedded Miss World though. A lot easier when you have money. I think the whole "be yourself" thing is nice, but what if it's not working for you? . And what's a nerd anyway? People tend to associate it with someone who's socially inept. If this is the case, then getting women interested in you is so much harder. . For me it's more about the gift of the gab than a lack of muscles or glasses. If confidence is a problem, find ways to work on that, rather than waste your time at the gym. . Just my 2 cts.

im not a geek but im no muscle bound athlete with rock abs im a average hard working bloke that works 12 hrs a day there is no way in hell im working out after work im relaxing so i am able to do my job tomorrow safely and i have a bit of a beer belly (too much iced coffee in my case ) but who cares i have a goatee and i wear black a lot im not a bogon in my mind black hides the grease stains when im at work so new jeans after a bit become work jeans so it goes im just me, doing my best to get by with what i know like almost every one who tries to get ahead in life at the end of the of the day im comfortable with who i am and that is what really matters the hard body might get those gym junkies a root but its not me but i respect the time and dedication some of them put into there body's appearance i like to admire a young hot hard belly woman with a drop dead figure too but its not the only thing im attracted toopersonality and how well we are able to communicate to each other is also a large part of attraction and that's where i really get turned on by a date so just learn to accept isnt the right word find a way to like who you are yourself and be proud of what your life choices have formed into the person in the mirror then you dont care when others dont like about how you look its when you get the admirers for me is dam rare but they are the people i want to talk to anyway they are finding out about me not just the exterior good luck mate you will rock someones world without pretending to be anyone else

What is a nerd? There are different types. But I'd say it is someone who becomes extremely passionate about things that seem boring or impossible to understand by the majority. E.g. Maths, physics, computer games, comics, history, star wars - anything. The idea that nerds are socially inept is an extreme misconception. I feel nerds have much closer relationships than your average person - perhaps fewer, but definitely closer. Why? Because nerds don't care about the superficial things. There are some nerds out there who have been victims of bullying and segregation their whole lives. These are the ones that need the self esteem boost and whom struggle the most to be proud of who they are. Telling a nerd to act "norma"l is probably the worst advice you can give.
