  Byron Bay has a number of options - Kings Beach (predominantly for gay men I believe but still fun) or Tyagarah (northern end of Belongil Beach) at the end of Grays Lane. I don't know of any closer to Coffs but I'm sure someone else does. If not there's always Google :-)

  thanks guys , will check the net and hpfully find somewhereto go . Evan if we dont there are plenty of beaches down this way to get away from the crowds , love it down here. M @ T
