I've heard of a lake in Byron Bay where couples go and have fun and sometimes swap or put on a show. Does anybody know where abouts in Byron it is or the name of it. My fiance and I would love to try it out. - Posted from rhpmobile

This is a Teetree lake on Grays Lane. Just go for a walk around the back of the lake. Don't be surprised if you have a crowd around you quite quickly though. Just google - Grays Lane, Tyagarah

Quoting 'YandM' just kidding :p I've heard....It's pretty "limp" and "flimsy" there. Gotta watch out for the rock spiders, pretty "stiff" competition. Foxy

just pick your day to go.....weekends on hot days in summer its busy as mentioned. But after a day at the beach at grays the lake is refreshing and awesome for your skin. there are other nude beaches just as good if not better to go with freshwater creeks to soak in .Weekdays are best to go to if you are new and don't want to be bothered being watched constantly or invited by various company. lol Have fun guys...xx

It's the most beautiful place. The tea tree stained water is amazing. I wish I could hide it from everyone and keep it to myself. Though admittedly it's been a long while since I've been there, so that would be selfish of me :) Yes, Gray's Lane. Google will get you there. Enjoy :) - Posted from rhpmobile

The beach at the end of the road is a nude beach. Public nudity is not permitted around the lake. If you go down to the beach, head north (left as you face the ocean) and walk up to where the dunes flatten out. People play there. We hadn't been there for some time. Went back this week and there seemed to be a lot of guys wanking in the bushes. Maybe because it was a week day. If you want to put on a show try downstairs at Mike's or seqsparties.

It's an awesome spot. My wife and I go there most Sundays and we've never encountered a problem. It is an awesome spot for after a day on the beach, the water is divine. The last few weekends have been quite busy with mostly couples down there. Mid week there can be a few strange cats around, but still, we haven't had a problem. We were there on Thursday and it was us with about 3 other couples spread out around the lake. Lots of tossers in the sand dunes but we stay near most other couples just to the left of the track. Give it go!

Hey guys, We have been there 3 times and have had brilliant times. We will be there Fri Sat and Sun this weekend. Just take the airport road off the highway but head straight down the dirt road for maybe 1 klm or so. You will see a group of cars. We have met mostly really nice people but there are a few guys that just act creepy and ive had to be a little forceful to get them to move on. Its a bit of a mood killer so any of those guys reading this......move on means move on. Keep it fun for all and show respect. If a couple wants yo involved then they will invite you. Once its gets to the point where you need to be told then its just not fun for you or us.

one day I was at band camp and I over heard some people talking .... heading south from Brisbane / Coolangattalook for signposts that tell you your about 12km from Byron Bayyou will go under an overpass (which is a motorway off ramp / on ramp) and then pass a gas station (which you can get to from the previous off ramp - always nice for an icecream on the way home and you can get back on from this without having to turn back)just after you see the gas station you will pass on the left hand side an light commercial airstrip where they do parachuting etctake the turning titled "Tyagarah Airstrip / Grays Lane"go directly straight ahead from the turn off intersection, you will go down a dirt road (usually in very poor condition) for a good 1km then you will hit tarseal again for about 2kmthen you come down the hill and hit a dirt road againonce you hit the dirt road the Tea Tree lakes are approx 300m on your LEFT hand side - park up and take a stroll you used to be able to go to the ones on the right but this has been fenced off as it is private land as others have suggested, it is nice if it is a little windy down the beachor, a rinse off after the beachor what ever takes your fancy just a heads up, it has tea tree tannin, which makes the water appear quite brown in colourit is very medicinal / therapeutic but be warned, it will stain light colour towels and clothes !! me personally, I always have a water bottle in my car for such occasions ... leave it on the dash so it can get nice and warm while you soaking the sun, then you can rinse off with hot water Enjoy
