saints and sinners ball

Hi, We will be in Melbourne for the Saint and Sinners Ball coming up (October) and wanted to know if out of state couples generally stay at the same hotel? We will be looking at booking a room for a couple of nights. We've been to a few fetish balls in Auckland and all out of towners book into the same hotel. So much so now that they occupy 3 floors each ball and mangament give a good discount due to the bulk booking. Also is great for after parties - only a short walk of shame requried haha. Any tips on accomodation or in general for us out of towners would be appreciated. Cheers J & S x

We go as well and generally stay wiht friends that we know from Adelaide on the same hotel as hem when we can however we have stayed separately as well in other Hotels, we have not found a central one so to speak, and anyway you can always bring your friends back wth you no matter where you atsy eh Enjoy the Gig when you go its a greta night out

we normally stay at the intercontinental, and we have seen other saints and sinners there, but dont know of any particular hotel where everyone stays.........great idea though, any other suggestions?

Hi, We've since made contact with one of the event organisers and he has suggested "quality hotel batmans hill' so we've booked there. The intercontinental sounds nice to. So maybe both hotels might be busy after the ball... hehe. Is there a thread for people attending the ball for general chat or contact (either to say hi before the ball or to meet etc) cheers J & S
