It’s not a new phenomenon There have been countless examples of “here’s a general topic, anyone interested, contact me” type posts

Always been happening, and always pointed out by someone else in response where to post. There are common categories of posts, which just repeat themselves. There is the ‘Are you into’ post, the ‘where can I find’ post, the ‘I want to have a whinge because it is unfair to me’ post, the ‘I just want to have a whinge’ post, the ‘Cybil Fawlty (stating the bleeding obvious)’ post, the ‘what is wrong with my profile’ post, the ‘lets get out the popcorn and watch the carnage’ post to name a few and so on (including combinations of the above) I am sure others will also be able to identify a few common categories of posts.

Is to generally engage with your opinions on the forum and be noticed. It is a window to your personality via your opinions. Plenty can be learnt. Only a small percentage engage in the forums, a larger number read and lurk. Must be about that time for the newbie thread to be launched. Stay tuned....... Because date finder is a waste of time. Your inbox gets filled with thousands of crap responses, winks tet. The forums at least brings them out into the spotlight and only the brave (true) will reply.
