work fit v's gym fit

March 28 2012

grabs wonders....... why it is?, that most women around my age have friends so much younger (Studs). Let's get real here, If you were fair dinkem about work u would be to exhuasted to spend time in the gym. I'm average and struggle to attract women around my age, they all want the six pack and the Biceps, it's a shame really I'm fun, eat healthy and have a great sene of humor and just love sexy times. Oh well ,I'll just crack another jimmy and check out web cam chat ( better put my glasses on).

I sit on my arse for a crust, like many do. Being work fit means having clean hands so as not to smudge lead pencil on my butter paper. The heaviest item I have to lift in my workplace environment is while sitting... I lift my feet onto my desk! I love going to gym. I also love tradies who go to my gym. Hugs Stalky

Perhaps not directly related the question you were asking but... On paper there shouldn't be any difference between some one who is fit from going to the gym and some one who ends up the same way from there job but often there is. I guess it depends on what job you do and how hard you work at it.Also depends on what you do when you go to the gym and how hard you work at it. Some call them spray on muscles LOL . I guess some one doing a manual labor job for many many years builds core strength, endurance, and the only way I can explain it is it's like muscle density. I guess it's a little like doing free weights and all the supporting muscles get worked at the same time.I am sure there are a lot of gym junkys that would sleep very very well after a few day's in a demanding manual labor job.I have always been under the impression some of the hottest fittest body's out there male and female are most likely not achieved at a gym.Tim

I guess I'm lucky with the work fit, plastering keeps me in shape.. I don't think the karate, kickboxing, kayaking, running and barbell at home have anything to do with it.. And being too busy to eat well, that has an affect too.. Hmm no wonder I'm so bloody tired.! :-)) anyone wanna swap jobs!

...but the term "fit" is relative to the activity involved. A marathon runner would be unfit for a three round boxing match. A power lifter would be unfit for the pole vault. Many body builders would be unfit for some of the more demanding manual laboring jobs as their strength and size often comes from strictly performed, isolation exercises whereas many muscles are called upon to work in unison and in awkward positions in some jobs. A man can strive to be fit for both work and gym. As a youth, I erected pallet racking for a crust but still hit the gym most nights. I would still have been unfit to swim the two hundred butterfly.

most people imagine they are fit....because they do a physical job...... i thought i was fit, but when i took on a physical role to help a mate out....i was quite shocked by just how 'unfit' i really was.... its not unusual some days for me to roll sleeves up, and shovel up to a couple of tons of sand into wheel barrows and return it to a stockpile.....occassionally theres a little assistance, but thats far from the norm..........i am thankful tho that gym has been a long time part of our regime....its kept back, stomach and shoulder muscles from turning completely to custard......   Shels an ex 'body sculptor'.... but she has the shape, and the drive for this...its made sure her physical role hasnt taken the toll on her, that it has some of her much younger workmates...

Young studs have endurance... I dont mean they can run a marathon or swim 50 laps, they have endurance... in bed!!! They can twist and turn you and pump it up a notch and still keep it going. Older guys may have endurance, but I find their version is like a steady jog, pace never waivering, I actually start twisting and turning so that the feat can be finished!! If younger guys cum, they also have a quick recovery time and then they REALLY have endurance!!!Abs and bums are nice to look at sure, but at the end of the day, its endurance that gets me off.Just sayinAnna

I think grabs, you are actually asking why women 35-60 are more interested in 'studs' younger than them.I am a woman over 50 and not interested in very young men.I think the answer might be some women are because there are sooo many young men looking for older women on this site.I read your profile and grabs, you might want to do a little bit of work on it....new pics, not talk about yourself in the third person etc. There has been quite a bit of discussion here about profiles and I suggest you check out that advice. Think like a woman grabs, act like a man and you may be surprised. As for the fitness thing,I have no idea what thats about.....now a finely honed wit, sharp brain.....yummmm x H

Sometimes the physical has nothing to do with attraction. Not all women are shallow and only want a six pack. Some of us are just as content with a slab.

Quoting 'grabsballsryours' great points of view, a little extra effort perhaps a trip to the gym may improve my stats. The question is mate. Do you really want to be in the company of someone who would find you more interesting if you had washboard abs? You are way better than thatcheersRick

I'd take a fit tradie over a juiced up gym junkie any day. Speaking in generalities obviously but guys who are all pumped up at the gym are all ego and love their image whereas tradies are just chilled and love to have fun. Hot hot hot :)

Yes if i had a choice between a tradie and a gym junkie, i'm with Bathsheba!I've always had a thing for blue collar workers, mmm no shirt, long pants tucked into the top of their steel cap boots, in winter i'd accept a fluoro waistcoat over the bare chest... oops sorry people I was dreaming out loud!I agree with the boys, it is a shallow person indeed who finds a six pack more stimulating than a real individual..and that brings me to my next point.I don't "Just" go for the youngins, I'm not boxed in. I also can get attracted to a profile, or a message that is different from the norm... how you can emulate that I dont know!! But, for example, I actually met a guy recently, purely because he used the word "scallywag" in his profile!! It appealed to my sense of humour, and further messaages and txting reiterated that we would have a great time once we got together, in fact when I first went to his place, it was just to hang out, drink and listen to tunes...(um as it turned out he had other ideas, not that I'm complaining!!!).My point, or advice, don't be scared to be yourself, or show a little of your true self in your profile, show confidence in who you are! Afterall we are all special!! Unfortunately guys are at a disadvantage, simply with the ratio of guys to girls, so guys have to make their profile as original (but not silly lol) as possible! Fair enough if you have just joined, use the templates provided but the sooner you update your profile to your own words, the better it will work! There is no tried and true method that has worked time and time again.... So you got to sell yourself as honestly as possible. But have you noticed I have not mentioned Gym and fitness once???I wish you well!! Good Luck AnnaxxxGood luck!!!Annaxxx

Having worked as a tradesman and in an office situation, I found that I gained more mass in the office job because I was going to the gym every chance I got. However as a tradesman, I lost the mass (but kept the strength) and became more toned. I guess if you have an office job and aren't proactive about maintaining your appearance, you're inevitably going to become less attractive to the people you target.

Not intersted in a six pack, hell I dont even mind if the six pack is hidden behind a keg. Given the choice I would rather work hardened over gym fit anyday. I find that most men who are really quite mentally soft. Work hardened and toughened can take more of a battering.

Work fitness, means u actually do physical work, so you to be a laborer, maybe 20 years ago everyone labored, times have changed we are in the technology age now = computers and marketingand even if you are work fit... your body would get shaped by your jobwhere as gym fitness, you sculpt your body so its all even, hence the expression body building. But, everyone is different and everyone has beauty, so its all good

I'm a tradie and don't do the gym thing. I do skip and stretch at home tho. Spent years with my two best mates, the crow bar and post hole shovel working in very remote areas where machinery were as rare as hens teeth.   There's so much variety in machinery these days to do the laborious jobs knotsy, that lads have gotta burn some energy off somewhere. Today is about conveniece and technology, as our fine sculptured brother balimadlear pointed out, and if people don't go to the gym or stetch and do exercises, they'll just turn into blobs.   I know what you're sayin tho and it is a shame. Even I'm to old for most women your age, lol. Make some room on the couch and pass me a cold one knotsy.
