Your reply to me is showing on my feed, but not on here so guessing that was also not pleasant. Meander, although your thoughts have vanished in the clean up, I couldn't agree more. Knowledge is power as they say 👍 Annie and DC, I absolutely agree it's an individual choice, no-one else's business, certainly not acceptable to be on the receiving end of judgment or abuse

I made my comment based on a lot of research on the matter, trying to sort through conflicting informtion and was not based on the actual question which i think was do you prefer or not prefer based on sexual preference. Ive never had a negative experience based off being uncircumcised just like im sure most circumcised men havent either. My disgust for it usually comes from the only people i hear bring it up are usually ignorant as to why they do it to to there children. It has never been a western thing until it became popular in the 1850's after a doctor started selling it as a cure for masturbation (a couple sources could be bull?). Comparing countires with high circumcision vs low there is nothing to say one is better than the other in health benefits. Hygiene, soap was invented a long time ago, you should be washing either way that extra half second to pull it back is a killer. It does seem to be based on religous or cultural reasons as a majority with western people trying to hang on to it for psuedo health reasons or cosmetic. Its now as low as 15-20% in australia and has been since dropping at its.peak in the 50's. Personally i could not put my child at risk of side effects even if there is a very very very very small chance of an issue. 'Estimates' in the USA put it at up to 50 babies a year die due to complications. With other side effects being to much skin removed causing painful/uncomfortable erections and more. Risks to not doing it can generally be treated with a cream with a very very very small chance of requiring cicumcision or physical operation. If you do it for cosmetics it sounds as ridiculos as the following. I would give my daughter a labia plasty because i prefered sex with women with no protruding labia and doing it to a baby is a lesser operation they wont remember. For health reasons. We removed the breast buds of our daughter because there is chance they might get breast cancer and its a couple cuts verse removing the whole breast later in life.... Hygeine if you know theres a chance someones going down on you circumcised or not, hell man or woman..... rinse it. - Posted from rhpmobile

Quoting 'I_touch_myself2'I absolutely agree it's an individual choice, no-one else's business, certainly not acceptable to be on the receiving end of judgment or abuse I actually don't agree. It would be one thing if it was adults making the decision purely for themselves, but we're talking about adults making decisions on behalf of babies who have absolutely no say in the matter. Despite what some may say it's not a small decision either, it's removal of a body part and it can - and does - have lifelong consequences, sometimes negative particularly if the procedure is botched or there are complications. I therefore don't think this is one of those situations where parents can just say they're not allowed to be judged. Parents don't own their children, and children have their own rights that are recognised in both international and domestic law. This idea of parents thinking that they can do what they like because they automatically know best should sometimes be challenged, IMO.
