Boho was the trend almost 1.5-2 years ago. I think trends are slow to reach us down under. Crystals accented furniture and paint inspired by crystal hues are pretty hot atm. I'm not talking about Swarovski crystals but natural, raw crystals like the Amethyst, Rose Quartz, Jasper, etc. I've seen so many simply astounding Instagram photos recently of this new trend and so happy to see creative pieces of furniture with raw crystals incorporated!

Though I have lost 19kg in the last 18 or so months. Well done young fellow great effort. Working on weight loose myself since yesterday. Secret method men's business, via humidity and chains saw combined with lifting. I go hard core on lifting no mirrors. Last week we had winds in excess of 80kmh The West has to be one the most windiest cities in the world. I am in the Swan Valley and the winds comes streaming over the Darlington Ranges. But I wouldn't give up the area, for we have an abundance of wineries, breweries, fresh produce and SPACE.

Perth Airport is one of the windiest in the world, at an OSH conference recently we were told about the QANTAS jet scratching an engine on the tarmac during a rough landing, apparently only Wellington is worse. Inspirit, I do a lot of work in the Swan Valley, and I should add the beautiful women there too especially Mrs Blue Eyes

It's a desk i am going to put in my study. I painted it in chalk paint then spray painted rose gold here and there to give a stressed look. Added crystal knobs. Looks fabablous. I am happy with it as it matches everything else in my house. No cum stains yet, Inspirit. 😇 lol PurePeony - some of those pieces are absolutely stunning. I just unpacked all my mothers Bohemian/Czech Crystal Glasses, vases etc and a stunning jewellery box set when she moved. She had them packed in boxes for 20yrs. Crazy! They are now out on display. I really like that look too. Ms Foxy

Any chance of riding Inspirit's wave? The Swan Valley is indeed glorious this time of year. Hotter by a few degrees here than most places because we are in a valley. But Thank God for the breezes we do get that clear and freshen the house more often than not. It's the times we don't get any breeze that are the worst. Inspirit, a turtle, I know, funny right. I have a ton of beads I could do something with, like make a prayer bead sort of thing with them. The turtle has a hole in his head, so I could make that part of the chain... Do you know that crystals vibrate? Everything vibrates at different speeds because Everything is made of atoms, I love the basicness of that. It is believed different vibrations inspire different responses from our bodies? Different colours? All part of the chakra. Pink is the heart (= love obviously). Black is the groin (strength = grounding). etc. I'm not an expert, just a dabbler. Peachy

The last we lost our cat for close to 24 hours, we found him in the footstool resting up quietly with the blankets we store in there, we couldn't believe he hadn't begged for food all that time! It wasn't at all embarrassing to recall posts on Facebook because he'd been reported as missing. FaF, glad he was fine, sincerely hope yours is too. Peachy

I am thinking positive thoughts for your cat, because you have recently moved house I am a bit concerned. Cats are amazing when it comes down to their territorial instincts. Years ago I moved back to the farm with a Doberman, the cat dropped her bundle and went to live in the neighbours hay shed for a couple of years and then came home as if she had only been away for a couple of days. She was about ten years old at the time and nearly made it to eighteen. We were all set to put her on the electoral roll...

Have you ever experienced soap in the mouth? I copped it when another boy in the group I was living in poured the whole shaker of salt on my food and the group leader's response was to tell me to eat it. Yeah, I called her a bitch. It's a story I'm reminded of after reading a similar story in the news during the week, about how a child carer of an autistic child washed their mouth out with soap. It was only that he had an older sister at the centre that the story was realised and released. There were there 3 of the staff involved. Shocking world that parents are forced into a situation where they have to put their children into child care so they can both work to survive. Peachy

You may want to check neighbours depending on your abode. My cat disappeared for 4 days I heard a kitten next door but it was her very weak and dehydrated coming around the corner. She had been locked in next doors shed. Must have been snoozing when he closed the door. My first cat was an indoors outdoors she lived to near twenty and would have longer if she hadn't been having fits due to disease. Our farm cat died at 23. Wives tales the indoor cat thing, depends entirely where you live and how intelligent said cat is.

Lucky after putting toys together u get a bonus of spare nuts bolts and screws. Didn't mention that on the toy box or in the instruction.

Our cat has never been taught to cross the road, bastard thinks he owns the world. He's an indoor cat with us and can not be allowed to approach nature if we want to have any respect for the other creatures living in our yard. Seriously, the lizard he woofed down the other day before we had a chance to open his mouth and get him to spit it out. We had a moment of terrible irony as the only part of the lizard that survived was the tail as the lizard went down head first. Grandchild does understand that lizard will not be regrowing the rest of it's body. Peachy

Way too many feral cats and those bastards get huge up north. Dogs are no better and they are getting worse as well. Even though I love my two dogs and two cats I have always said we need to stop breeding these animals until they are eradicated from our country. I had a possum and a wallaby when I was young when I lived out bush and they gave as much as any cat or dog could. Yet I need a special license to have a native creature as my furry mate. Yep owners are responsible but we cannot just blame them we have let these animals take over. That said what does shit me is the conservationist view that cats are killing ridiculous amounts of creatures, the dickheads state in their millions. So many other exotic species doing damage not to mention our native predators. The best of them for sure being the monitor lizard it climbs for birds and eggs it can swim and run like a bitch a fantastic hunter. Anyways a subject I could go on about for hours and from both stand points which kind of freaks people out a little.

Ride on Sunday. At first it was hot though a bit dry. Then things got a little wet. Our journey together made her twist and turn as I really got her motor runnin’. I pushed her hard and she purred like a kitten, then I opened her right up and she growled like a tiger, eating up all that I gave her. Not the best weather to take the Sportster out for a ride, but still a good ride. Black Spur, Reefton Sour, not a bad day out.

Sometimes we all just need that physical space away from whatever annoys or stress us in order for things to get back to normality. I have got myself a job.. yes with pay and a roster 8/6 and everything! I was just beginning to stress and wonder about how to pay to transport myself and all my crap south to rely on a little support from friends and family down there (after 7 weeks no pay cheque)(I dont do the dole)(and I always fix up said friends and family when I come good). For those who are feeling emotionally fragile or have some self professed mental issues....please take just a minute to consider the impact your posts have on all the other folk who are here to utilise RHP as an Adult site. I came here to look at dicks, and look where that got me, lol. I still respect that others want to avoid them though. That's why I started my thread on what I hoped would be a win/win proposition with the idea of having a choice to block them but it seems there is something built in that all people can do is express their dismay without recognising there is a chance of possible improvement. It would have been a win for me because then I wouldn't read the same constant complaints that don't recognise the variety of opinion and our rights to them. And a win for them because of their constantly stated position that they don't want to see dick pics. Speaking as a self professed mental health issues sufferer, I believe open recognition, discussion & understanding of health issues are incredibly valid on an adult site like this but should not be pandered to. Obviously we don't want it to be every second topic/post but the fact is, one in 5 of every Australian between 16 to 85 suffers a mental health issue every year. This ties to the idea for me that if we are going to have problems about moderating that we could well do with playing the topic, and not the person. Peachy

Well said. There are many others, apart from some obvious posters, my self included that have "issues" as well. We come here for our reasons, but pretty sure our reasons are not to listen to others with issues constantly putting their problems in our face. Whilst we sympathize with those others, it's too constant and degrading our experience on here. So to those referred to, take it elsewhere. We are over it. Well and truly.

I met with a psychiatrist off this site a little while ago......didnt know his profession before we met up for a coffee. Nice guy. We had general conversation, as you do, and he said he came to RHP as he has been divorced for a while, busy with work and wanted to get away from all the stress of his job, meet a few women etc. He had to stop reading the forums after a couple of days as a few posters reminded him too much of work, the very thing he came to get away from. I do understand that many folk have issues, most of them have the ability to show some restraint (yes even you). I do have a little compassion and empathy, even started a whole thread for them to have a "safe place" to post. And its great that most folk manage to use this site and forums without projecting their need for attention on everyone. Yes, I do realise this topic is titled Everything and Nothing and is open for everyone to post....yet most of the 8000 ish people on rhp do realise there is a time and place for comments to be said .

There is a place for everything. In so many threads there is so many stories of people's experiences. Good and bad. And it is heartbreaking some of the bad. I've shed many a tear and broken down over many. But l don't take that as a negative because those people resume their daily interactions and don't constantly air it. They put it on topic in the right place so people can learn and appreciate what they had endured. Perhaps some people can learn and appreciate their own circumstance a little more. As you say, a place for everything and everything in its place. We need to hear the experiences but we need to be able to think that those people are in a good space now or at least getting the right professional help they need.

But I don't think you get that your attitude toward mental health is incredibly patronising. If posts by a particular person are bothering you, let them go, you have the choice to take on, or not, what is going on. You can only control yourself. And as I already said, I think it would make a big difference if threads weren't more important than people until the time someone decides a particular thread matters more than most. Yes it is everything thread. But we are on volume 5 within a couple of months. Not because of the subject imposed but by the interactions of a few people with each other becoming conflictual. One poster is gone because of that. No one likes to see posters go whatever the circumstance. We are here to enjoy ourselves, not to see people constantly niggle at each other until the thread is removed. X

"Beyond Blue" I did NOT get Ruby as using the term in any way EXCEPT the reference to a "Mental Health Crisis Support System" It is one I advocate regularly in my line of work when dealing with multiple characters in the mining sector..In Fact, it appears I may shortly be much closer associated with that advocacy .. Sometimes it may be worth us all trying to read "WHAT" a person is saying.. instead of relying on our first instinct to decide someone we may not have a lot of time for is just being a cunt.. If ANYONE is suffering in here, then I cannot encourage them enough to find help.."Beyond Blue" is probably as good a place to start as anywhere..

is an everyday thing, I refuse to be dumped in the right place and at the right time for you. and I resent that I am obviously one of the people being referred to on this thread. Nothing to do with the current topic but also kind of... Yesterday, I ignored your comment Annie about a protected one, something like that. I'd appreciate it if you would try to speak to me, and use your words properly because I find it very confusing and have already been told off for trying to ask questions rather then assuming. I suggest you look at yourselves for the best place to find peace, because no one can give it to you. Peachy, does just fine

Please don't try to convince me that you care about how I feel. And try to make me feel grateful you made a hole (thread) to bury me (people with mental health problems) in because... Personally, You made an active decision to ignore me several years ago that you reiterate to me often... And you still do, despite all my efforts to take the actual piss like your Grudge post and a couple of others this year. It's stupid shit like that that I think is as much a problem as anything else. If you dont like some of the forum posts. Dont f**cking read them..Brush past them like most do. Its not rocket science. I come here to escape too and not be belittled for my thoughts and rellied to a specific page, for what ever reasons given. I also use this site to meet like minded people and I do, regstdless of the forums. I'd suggest everyone just shut their mouth for a change and stop the underhanded comments. I am well aeare of my contribution to confronting ITouch for aggressive attacks and as another poster wrote, many of her posts were ok and liked. This is a place for anything and everything and if you dont like it, there are plenty of other topics to read and post in. I have no problem with your topics and general input to the forums. I certainly wouldn't want you to leave as you certainly freshen up the place with your thoughts and subjects. Something for everyone. I do have concerns with your preoccupation with Rubi AND vice versa and that is the part that is affecting my experience on RHP forums. It is also obvious l an not alone with those concerns. Is that addressed clearly enough? I'm not saying that as disrespect for either of you. I'm saying it as the OP of the thread. Also on behalf of the other OPs where the conflict is spilling over too. I'd sign off from the thread but l can't. I'm the OP......

Ive just come back to the forums so a lot of this is new to me. I just thought that it was a bit insensitive and needless bringing the name of a well known organisation dealing with people with depression into the comments. Purely my personal opinion, people can agree or disagree. I hope no 5 lasts the distance! They are always the most entertaining threads xx

Something else that confused me is how short you were with me when I got back after my break during the festive season early this year.
