He was only born in Ireland, but his father was a Kiwi, and they returned to the South Island to live in 1954 (So yes technically speaking he is Irish (Bet he has a NZ passport though). Once upon a time in the kingdom of heaven, God went missing for six days. Eventually, Michael the Archangel found him, resting on the seventh day. He enquired of God "where have you been?" God sighed a deep sigh of satisfaction and proudly pointed downwards through the clouds, "look what I've made." Michael looked puzzled and said "what is it"? "It's a planet", replied God, "and I've put life on it. I'm going to call it Earth and it's going to be a great place of balance". "Balance?" enquired Michael, still confused. God explained pointing down to different parts of Earth. "For example, Northern Europe will be a place great opportunity and wealth while Southern Europe is going to be poor; the Middle East over there will be a hot spot." Over there I've placed a continent of white people and over there a continent of black people", God continued pointing to different countries. "And over there I call this place America. North America will be rich and powerful and cold, while South America will be poor and hot and friendly. The little spot in the middle is Central America which is a hot spot. Can you see the balance?" "Yes" said the archangel, impressed by God's work, then he pointed to a smallish land mass and asked "what is that one?" "Ah" said God. "That's New Zealand, the most glorious place on Earth. There are beautiful mountains, rainforests, rivers, streams and an exquisite coast line. The people are good looking, intelligent, humorous and they're going to be found travelling the world. They'll be extremely sociable, hard working, high achieving and they will be known around the world as diplomats and carriers of peace. I'm also going to give them super human, undefeatable, strong in character citizens who will be admired and feared by all who come across them." Michael gasped in wonder and admiration but then exclaimed, "You said there will be balance!" God replied wisely. "Wait until you see the buggars I'm putting next to them".

This game had it all...commiserations to the Springboks, in many ways they outplayed the AB's. They were the first to break the AB's scrum so far in the tournament. Astrild I agree with you that Kaino was a bit harshly treated, I think he accidently kicked the ball in the heat of the moment...but if he hadn't been off side. I feel that players on both sides were lucky to avoid further yellow cards. Anyway it's easy to sit on the sideline and comment there were 30 men in the cauldron, under that pressure something must give way. Now the pressure mounts for the Pumas and the Wallabies game, there's a lot at stake, drinks, oral sex and even deportations not to mention a berth at the final. Bring it on.

Quoting 'Astrild' Congrats also to the most beautiful man in the world (aka Dan Carter) on becoming the highest point scorer in World Cup history for NZ. And what was with the sin binning of Jerome Kaino?? Ridiculous decision IMO. Polys, your thoughts? Astrild & JD......it was one of those games where the last 8 minutes was full on standing up, standing down, pacing side to side, riding every minute.....sounds like our kinda fun time aint it LOL...but yes the game had it all, drama, yellow cards (as for Kaino, if you get yourself in silly positions in the first place you suffer the consequences - he did the crime, paid the time so to speak LOL....and of course there can be only one winner.......and one point will do it (ok 2 points then LOL)..... Had to laugh at one Facebook post I read, where one of the posters was so anxious and excited when the game finished he was off to change his undies LOL..... Bring on the final and as Steve Hansen said when asked who he would prefer in the final......(words to the effect of - we dont care.....because were in the final ..... Maybe will have to post a pic of the Polys in our All Black gear aye

It was the kind of game where a friend of mine who'll remain nameless would wet herself...at Lancaster Park on a cold winters night

Quoting 'meetpeople69' If it wasn't for the hard working kiwis the mining would slow to a stop. Also get the joy of sending all the money back to nz knowing I'm fucking Australia over as they will get no tax off any of them dollars. I sleep well at night knowing I'm fucking this country over haha :) Two things you probably should amend in your profile after that..... "I'm a calm confident guy with a positive out look on life". "attractive"...... the personality part. Sleep well.... and alone.
