Quoting 'smo669'Does anyone know, if you change your login name, do you lose your validations? That only happens if you close your account and open a new one. If you've left any validations for others, your name will change automatically on those. What name were you thinking?

I tried 10 or more goes at finding a name RHP would accept. It seems people on here already had my original and creative nick names. Seems like a familiar story, so i dont feel so bad now. No way was I going to be BlahBlah_23, I am number one or not at all My last thought was, its an internet dating site how hard can it be. - I bet theres no socsiopaths on here. Hence typed it in.....and yes I was correct,.....thank the stars as I am sure i dont want to meet one.......hmmmm and if that is my thought I am sure others think the same. Hence the "path" came off and the "socsio" stayed. Loved reading the thread Xx

you did ask...I can layclaim to many different alias...I joined eighteen months ago as Hesione...a princess of Troy, tied to a rock as a sacrifice to a sea monster...she was rescued by Heracles....the rock represented for me,my inhibitions. then an asprirational one...Freya13...Norse goddess, leader of the Valkyrie. I got bored with Freya, so for a short time I was Auntie Edna, wife of Norm...she enabled me to indulge my slightly anarchic humour for a while... Then Lysistrata emerged ,a response to the male dominated union...she led a group of women to revolt against their husbands, according to Aristophanes . Most recently I have been channelling Eskimo Nell ,a bawdy slut immortalised in a ballad by Noel Coward.... Now I am back to being Freya77...at least for now

I was originally - "inthecity", named after "California Love - Tupac". Even though I dislike this song - the chorus still plagues my mind. Also - I love California. Got sick of this because every time I logged in I could hear that chorus and intro to the song "Californiaaa loooove". so went with something more personal and less annoying. At my first day of high-school, everyone in the class was asked to stand in a circle. One by one we were told to think of nickname. The first and coolest word that came to my head was slick. Put simply it rhymes with my real name, and the only other "ick" sounding words I could think of were "prick", "brick" and "dick".The name slickz has kind of stuck - I get called it by old school friends and I have used it as an alias for work and logins.Yawn*** almost put myself to sleep typing that.

Quoting 'kosikan'Second i joined was easier but my original name was taken..... When you delete your account and re-join (or change your username) you cannot have your old name back unless RHP gives you special permission. Any name that was ever taken, even if the members are no longer here, will not be available. So it can be a challenge to come up with something unique.

When I had to choose a nickname, I scanned through my iTunes library... sounds odd but I have a lot of dance/trance/electronica/lounge/chillout and they all have pretty cool song titles. I picked a few but settled on Blinky Blue Eyed Sunrise by The Metaluna Mutants on Cafe Del Mar Volume 2. Strangely enough I don't even like the song, but it has a cool title. I also have blue eyes, so it suits be very well. Then I had to get rid of the extra E for the sake of my sanity, and sadly, the 'sunrise' at the end made it too long to be accepted by the website... so blinkyblueyes it was.It also has the advantage of a short nickname 'blinky', although for Aussies that comes with and instant association for a certain cartoon koala bear. But if any gent ever calls me Bill, I call him Monica, and then he usually stops. :P

When we started we were lord_lady69. At the time I was toying with 'lady' aliases as it is related to my real name. But as time went on the name seemed dicky. I started blogging as Gemma Jones and so we decided to be Mr & Mrs Jones. The underscore is just a way to get RHP to accept our title. So that is the reason I am actually Mrs Jones.

I'm 6ft - so a little Amazonian in height (I wish physique lol). A friend had called me Glamazon and I thought that was great and believe it or not I had never heard the term before. But it was taken :( When I joined Rhp I used the name Anna socially but it was my mask, it enabled me to lose my inhibitions. I now realise Anna is the real me and not the mask! In my real life I will soon be changing my name to Anna by deedpoll. Oh look Anna's On.

I had no intention to ever have sex again in my life, after three years without it I thought the rust had set in for good. so it was a non sexy name , so was my profile it actually only had a few pictures of my art on it well I got tempted and stayed for the ride and got hooked on the forums of late, after some started calling me Lady_Tuscan and said I reminded them of the woman that jumped in the fountain in the book Under the Tuscan Sky I thought yes this is me, as I do love Italy and I would be jump in a fountain and wish some Italian hottie would fish me out and have his way with me so for a while I will stay LadyT

The name I joined with and i will never change. It's my calling card. It's how I feel. Deep. My moon sign is Scorpio. Look it up. Blue? I love water. I can feel blue at times. Blue is the colour of trust and loyalty too. Sumthing? Shortened to fit the characters in. Also my somewhat dreamy or vague appearance. Often a surprise to people who scratch my surface and find Im pretty sharp. So deepbluesumthing it is! I've heard that a lot of the guys think deepbluesumthing is meant to sound like the title of a porno flick? Which reminds me of the late Christine Amphlett who sang, "When I Think About You I Touch Myself". When she wrote that lyric she was talking about touching her spirituality through knowing and touching others lives and vice versa. People can interpret it anyway they want to :)- Posted from rhpmobile

When I first started playing football ' I got the nickname 'Jay ' short for the initial of my first name. It stuck with me right through from the under 7s , primary , high school, grade and finally NRL. All my team mates and mates from other clubs all called me 'Jay' In fact' there have been some that didnt know any different. So it was only natural I still use the name.As far as the _Me' part. I probably submitted just 'Jay' and it was taken' I cant remember. So I just added the 'Me' on the end , and here I am.

Here is a plea bargain for you.I am charged with trying to emulate Roger Miller 'no phone, no pool, no pets - ah ain't got no cigarettes'.I will plead guilty, with no mitigating circumstances - do the time, do the crime. I will concede without hesitation that two hours of pushing brooms got me an 8 by 12 four bit room.I will even cop to the appalling words of 'Dang Me'.BUT the prosecution has to agree that I am over six feet tall.
