Many years ago I lived in Sydney, regularly drove up to the Sunshine coast Hinterland to see a woman I was very keen on. All I ever got fom her was abuse that I didn't deserve or need. I followed a Girl to Europe. Dopey me should have married that one. But ya get that. Good ones are rare and worth the chase, no matter the distance.

When I was a single girl (at least 2/3 years ago) I had a guy fly all the way from Sydney to Hervey Bay to spend the weekend with me, we had chatted on MSN for at least a year before he took the plunge. I also travelled from Hervey Bay to Sydney for a holiday when I was 20 but I had a few different meets set up while I was in town, if that counts. Distance seems to be a part of my life though because I currently have a long distance relationship with my partner DK. I live in Hervey Bay, he lives on the Gold Coast. Its about 400km to travel to see each other. It sucks! Taby xx

I used to travel from sydney to country Qld a drive of about 10 hours every second week to meet my then girlfriend for a weekend of partying and hot sex.... just goes to show that a man would travel however long for the right girl.... or a bit of hot sex- LOL!

i flew to sydney 2 months ago to take a lovely girl out for dinner? i am in west australia and i asked this girl out for dinner she said she would love to , ok i shall pick you up at 7 ish ok so 3 days later i arrived in sydney the plane load of passengers thaught it was very romantic so did my friends and plenty of ladies said they would love that? oh well my date freaked out and never showed up !! now that is stood up.

Years ago I had an online romance with a gorgeous Canadian... after one of our epic phone calls that lasted a 6hr he decided it was cheaper to fly over... and he did. OMG... the build up over the previous 3 months was explosive. After staying with me for 2 wks he flew back to Canada, sold everything he owned and returned with immigration application in hand. We were together for 4 hot and steamy years... SF

For me Landstuhl Germany where I was working to Melbourne for a week. We had tried to meet up multiple times but always missed each other for various reasons. There was so much chem in our mail and txts, knew it would be fine. Oh how that week was, a few nights at abode, the rest, well other places. Oh my dirty devil where o where are you now? A guy once flew over from Sydney to Perth for a weekend so we could realise our 17 year old long distance yearnings. We were both virgins, the sex was terrible and we had absolutely no sexual chemistry in person! I ended it not long after he got back to Sydney. Ahh teenage "love", so fickle. I can't believe how common it is to travel for this! I thought we were weird back then but I guess I'll be scoping out my fellow passengers a bit harder next time wondering who's got the pre-meet jitters ;) Seriously itchy feet right now...

with air fares being as cheap as they are there really aren't any limits to how far you can travel to play, just a question of how the big you anticipate the reward Vs cost of a ticket, the hotter the night/day/weekend/week the more you might pay to travel.. and of course you can site see, catch up with friends, holiday at the same time..
