forums are like tv, you can watch the shows, you can change the channel, you can have an opinion and you can have preferences but no one forces you to watch the shows. Don't waste the only life you have sitting at home writing letters to the office of film and television classification moaning.... btw i am not attacking any individual just using the opportunity to push my position on such things ;-)

I believe BO has screws loose, not because of the number of profiles he has, but rather because of the amount of deluded, vile viciousness that eminates from them. If all of his profiles were removed and he was put in a padded room without Internet access his state of mind would be completely unchanged IMHO (my unqualified but reasonably worldly opinion) You sound like you haven't made one of BO's mailing lists peachy ? I've only been here a very short while in forum years but I think the inclusion of a thumbs down button in the header section of the message panel would be a simply and effective way for members to gauge the levels of support for/against expressed views....

To thumbs down... I've been on other forums where they trialled a like/dislike button... All that happened was that the pack formed and those not in the clique were hunted and hounded. Forums need diversity without abuse... Even the like button is open to being abused by sphincter lickers... Hp xo💋 Because you're worth it...

So up to you, as the OP, to decide how to curve back in the direction of the thread and temper the harangue spat out by an angry poster. As Inspirit said, this is going down the slippery slope of closing the thread and understandably. . Or maybe you can not be bothered... Lol. It is holiday season and I have a busy life outside RHP! I was interested in motivations for helping people, and we did get that from some posts early on and the occasional one later - thanks for those contributions. With regard to the display above, it is worth revisiting the third question I asked. Is it better that people should be left free to expose themselves uncensored and unassisted; in their profiles and their forum posts? I have noticed many times advice given to remove negativity, something that will often betray an underlying misogyny or other unattractive baggage. There's advice to change safe sex preferences - because ticking the right box will just as effective as actually using a condom. And of course if you've slipped up somewhere and given the impression you have a partner you should tidy that up too - inconsistency is a turn off, while an effective liar is a winner. Better to let them hang themselves early on I would think, as the BigO has demonstrated so effectively right here.

Agree that some advice would be best left unsaid, I would rather read a poorly written profile that truly represents someone than a profile manufactured in a way that is misleading.
