You know Imupinthesky there are quite a few "different" people here. I've heard through Lovinit and MissB that venues for the next Brissy-based Meet n Greet were visited last Sunday and entertainment scoped out. Something debaucherous but totally tasteful. I believe November was looking good according to the ladies but competing with Xmas oarties and the G20 Summit has affected negotiations on venue. I'm wondering if people would be prepared to pay a $20/head cover charge to the venue for the room, entertainment and nibblies if the person you named above goes ahead with one particular sexy cellar type venue that'll hold just over a 100? Thoughts and opinions given openly here would be great for the Ladies who are considering this upcoming event. Anyway that's what I've heard.... Indy On Safari

hey everyone As on Safari has pointed out this time of year makes it hard to organise a meet and greet without it costing money especially with the G20 thing happening. we would like to push it to 2015 and are looking at February at this stage. This is a quiet time for most venues so a better deal will certainly be on offer and if the date happens to be valentines weekend well all the lovely couples can have an extra special weekend of debauchery. This may work best for babysitters, cheap flights, etc. comments or suggestions please people.

Anyone can hold an event anytime any where. I've seen boat/private parties, special events at clubs/theme nights, Bon fires on beach, ladies night out to just a social local catch up drinks at pub..OP why don't you just put an event up in the events page and see how you go from there. It can be anything you want. Does not have to be a huge thing. If it's a "social" or "private party" thing your after, just say that. You'll be the host so do want YOU want. If there's a little notice I'm sure people will go. Go for it - be pro active. :-) Foxy

Is November any less of a drain with Xmas, Rates and all that going on too? The idea is to keep cost down for everyone. You know I try and get as much as I can for free so we can do these things just for fun and it doesn't matter if we get 10 or 100 show up. Drinks is all most will need $ for and those travelling will have time to budget for expenses and get in contact with friends to stay with to eliminate accomodation costs. Same as usual. :)

From personal experience, I can say my weekends leading up to Christmas are pretty much booked out already. February makes sense from the perspective of people having the free time and the venue not trying to charge through the nose because that is a quiet time of the year for hospitality. And it also allows everyone to come back refreshed from leave and cashed up. If it assists, Valentines Day falls on a Saturday in 2015.

How's this read? Pre-Christmas Dinner & Drinks Hello all you wonderfully naughty and nice people out there. We are holding a gathering for anyone who would like to catch up with friends and/or make some new acquaintances in a social coastal setting just north of Brisbane City in the Bay Area. There will be an area set aside for us so you can find us. Finger food you can trust is on offer if we get sufficient interest as well as a restaurant or bar menu. The seafood is to die for! There is also live entertainment (besides us) and the location has a spectacular view. Affordable accommodation onsite is available as well as at a myriad of nearby (walking distance) apartments. There is a forum topic going currently called QLD Meet n Greet started by imupinthesky2 who was so keen for another night out after our Goldie evening God Bless his cotton socks... Should you require further information please do not hesitate to send the "Please message me I'm keen" flirt to Lovinit or On_Safari (that's me aka Indagine), message Freya79 or ask in the forum and you'll hear from someone. You will be contacted via PM if the answer cannot be given publicly. This is a casual, nicely dressed night out where you can chat freely among other like-minded people. Numbers attending are pretty consistent but please register because the venue may need to give us more space. Like any social occassion manners are expected. This is a licenced venue and other guests will be present enjoying their evening out. Who knows you might meet someone you like and who likes you back (even among the Moguls!!), at the very least you'll have a top night laughing with us. Come on out and say Merry Christmas and enjoy a little warmth and titillating conversation with other RHP'ers in a beautiful relaxed setting. Oh and if we don't see you there.....MERRY CHRISTMAS!

Accomodation at the venue starts at $129/night too but you may find deals cheaper OR a friend to bunk with this time 😄 I'm thinking an apartment so we have somewhere other than the beach to hang oit on after closing....Freya knows the perfect places for brekky the next day. 😃 let me know if you need a lift from the airport or a place to crash Friday night and I'll be there. Got a guest room, a couch and a few patches of carpet to crash on. :)

I might be able to swing that as a new job posting is in the pipeline from a new Qld client. I have not looked into details yet and have not accepted the work but if it is a go ahead, I may be flying into Brisbane or GC for a week. Most likely mid-Feb. sounds like fun.

Just keep me posted and I'll try to align my work trips as humanly as possible with the Meet and Greet. I may have to negotiate a start dates so it my work trip falls on the day you decide to hold it. If I can. depending on the urgency and scope of the work. I have to leave for the Philippines in March so trying not to keep those weeks too close together so I can spend time with my young men at home. them i call my children... Lol.

Voting day in Vic and I also have to babysit my adorable 9 week old twin niece and nephew so my sister can go to an engagement party. Feb might be iffy for me too, My bosses are Chinese and take off to China for the Chinese New Year. Might be able to still make it though. Gotta train up a new girl soon.

What they intend to wear? I'm humming and haa-ing over 2 maxis....or a short number. 1 I haven't worn, 1 that leaves little to the imagination bit enough to still be alluring (lol yeah baby!!) and one where I have to bare my knobbly knees....(sigh) we'll be in the open air under the stars kinda sorta soooooooo keep that in mind. We will be doing nibblies but if you're a big eater or after something more substantial again I recommend the venues restaurant and bistro. I don't know what's going on in the Bay that weekend but accomodation is going quick!!! 😳

Single-Guy4U we had a lovely gentleman at our first Meet n Greet last August arrive sporting a fluorescent green mankini. Poor love was chafing his assets all night long and got busyed in the men's toilet attempting to remove said garment 😂 so I suggest you make sure you pack your bits comfortably 😇 lol

That Mr Jacuzzi time earned his keep that night. While mrs Jacuzzitime happily slept off the effects of her over indulging, mr jacuzzitime was forced into a cleaning frenzy. Let me tell you there was capsicum in places where capsicum does not belong. Seems Mrs Jacuzzitime decided that while she would consume copious amounts of alcohol, the best food to go with that consumption was indeed bright red capsicum. She's a keeper. Lol.
