After switching to Vodafone, fucking big mistake. My new Samsung 4S was a complete minefield to operate, I'm not the most tech savvy person... Anyway after figuring the basics, I discovered the hands free did not work, I can hear you but the internal mic is screwed. As this was discovered after the 30 day exchange period had expired I am left with what might as well be a child's toy because hands free is something I use everyday. After several phone calls, directed to the closest store and being told a replacement phone is not available. WTF? I was just sent here by some muppet to pick it up??? This has been the scene for the last 4 months. After getting nowhere I rang and asked to speak to a person in Australia that understands my grievance," sorry Sir we deal with all customer issues in this OS department..... Farkkkkk..... Finally I managed to get onto a CSR that could and did resolve my predicament. Now why the fuck was I given the run around by the useless idiots trying to sooth my frustration with Aussie slang in an Indian accent and stonewalling me at every turn.... Keep your CSR department in Aus and provide the service that I pay for... Enough said...

made such a huge deal of how they came all the way from NZ to visit the grandkids then spent a lot of time NOT here with us. preferring to spend time with 'crowds of people, oh too many, so many people' shopping for the whole family back home... before they came across MIL sent the kids an email saying that if they didn't clean their rooms and the house then she wouldn't buy them anything. so they dutifully (with a bucketload of help) sorted their rooms, dragged out previous grandparent gifts from the dark recesses under the bed to show how much they appreciate them... Grandma arrived and told them they had too much stuff (all bought by her), were spoilt (they're not and have had to do without a lot) and that she wasn't going to give them anything or buy them anything because of this. Tipping point was she wanted youngest to throw out a dress that a very close friend had made her... Thank goodness she is back in NZ now and can only bitch about us rather than ruin the day to day.

I've been thinking a lot about loneliness. I see it in people's eyes all the time, especially older people. I often wonder how many people have birthdays and Christmases etc pass them by without being acknowledged by another living soul, and I think about how painful that must be. And then there's the loneliness of superficial relating when you long for a deeper intimacy, whether that's with family, friends or lover. So much loneliness in this world. So sad. You have reminded me, of a time when I was playing around with Tara, we were young lovers playing cards and I started telling Tara what card she was about to play next, getting it right every time, she began to get an amazed sort of smile, about half an hour of dazzling her with this gift, I just had to tell her I could see the reflections in her eyes. I get exactly what you are saying. We have some clients too at work and the very thought of Christmas, sets off some Serious Disruptive Incidents (SDI) for that very same reason. For some clients, it's a very sensitive issue and long standing history. If we talk about Christmas/Easter in front of them. It makes me sad, they can't even go near shopping centers or anything like that when decorations are hanging. Foxy

I remember going to a high energy African Reggae event once, and at the beginning of the gig, the performer got the whole crowd to reach deep down, feel their stress, anger, social pressures, anxieties, and then let it all out together, encouraging cathartic noise and movement in unison, before he let rip with some damn fine feel good vibes and beats that were too hard to resist feeling good to. My family holiday and challenge has come to an end, and I'll be Reggae-ing my way back home to the comforts of being ruler of my own domain once again. It's been nice to be back on RHP for a short while, hope a vent has been helpful, and sending good vibes to all who need it. xox :-)

I have known someone for few years. Tried seeing her but didn't work. Remained good friends. She is young, 23. Lives at home with mum an dad. 2 of her closest friends have fallen pregnant to random guys from a particular date site. Not this one.. She told me last night she is pregnant too, with twins to a guy she met online and he is adamant its not his and wants nothing to do with her, like her good friends. I've never felt like this, dunno what I feel. I was and am heavily critical of her friends and dont believe we the tax payer she foot the bill, aka single parents pension. Plus the not having a stable father/role model. Shes been sick for 2 months, and nearly daily I've ask how she was. I wasn't born in the last shower of rain and it makes sense to think she has known for a while, yet didn't want to say because of the way I'd react. I have enough problems of my own. Like us all. In a way I want to find him an cave his head in, but in another I just want shit like that out of my life and don't want to talk to her again. I loath Jetstarfour flights with them and every single one has been cancelled and I had to re book, but only on their termstake the red eye of piss of here is your money...ahhhhhrrrr that cheap return to Sydney seems to me I got taken for a ride, or hold on I am not getting the ride I paid for... I am a moron for booking them after all the previous stuff ups. hows this for a wait time, my daughter called the help line at Telstra and she had the phone on speaker waiting for 1 hour and 50 min till I hung up the phone it kept saying we will be with you as soon as we can, they should have recorded this is the centrelink very son of a call centre. feeding my Jetstar card to the dog

So some passive aggressive male has posted suggesting he has a cyber stalker. I think it's probably me he means but he's not man enough to come out and say it. He certainly hasn't denied it. So, I googled cyber stalker and found out that by definition, that would mean I am actually a terrible person who does horrible things I wouldn't dream of. A false accusation was made about me, as such I have just been put on probation for 6 months with my work, with impromptu visits each week. I also have to do a behaviour management course. I'm so beyond furious that my emotions have just gone into lockdown...... I can so understand a subs desire to be dominated and pass all control, thought and being to a person you can trust won't hurt you.....

My winge is the email or remark. Sorry you are some what over qualified for this position and have too much experience for this role. You will only look for another better paying position. Is it wrong to see you can make a big emprovement in that industry and company. After all is it not them who want to staff their company with qualifed competant employees.

Rebecca How am I to know what people find offensive. True in chat I did mention a few things that would be offensive and have not done that again. Putting a broad blanket on not saying anything offensive is well, not very practable. I think you will find that there are many people who enjoy my posts. RHP taking away the banter that instant posting affords me to communicate on light hearted topics and the more in depth ones basically ruins the whole theme of the forums for me. What do you want the forums to turn into. There is already a feeling amoungst the regulars that it is fucking fluffy and boring. Yeah lets turn it into a womans weekly gossip column. As you can tell Im a bit miffed. I hope you do reconsider the ban you have put in place on me. My style of writing has not changed significantly over the years and those that have had issues with me come to an understanding. I hold no grudges against anyone and you will often see me extend a palm leaf. Not a happy RHP Customer atm. And you know the Customer is always right.

Ok so put myself on a certain social dating phone app...you know swipe like or not..... Then if you both like each other you can send messages. So send a hello message this morning then go change mums dressings from a fall she had and then go visit my sister in law in hospital dying from a brain tumor. Check back later on and there are 2 messages from this guy , one saying hello and then the next saying "ok fine ....enjoy" I send one back saying "enjoy?" And he sends one back saying " 2 hours to reply to a message, hardly clicking" So I reply " I am so sorry for having a life outside these virtual walls " to which he calls ME a loser and a few other things and blocks me! As per my prev post on Age Gaps, I thought that men younger than 35 yo wont suit me due to their maturity and reliability and their confidence level. I met a 30yo on rhp who seems smart, funny and mature (for his age) and was very keen to meet me. A few weeks on after many flirty emails, text msgs and phone calls , I thought he has managed to change my views on the young guns. The last invite I had extended to him was the Melb meet and greet recently. He backed out of that as he felt uncomfortable in a crowd of strangers and was scared and adamant it was going to be an ORGY! Lol. WTF. But can't insist on him coming as afterall he is an adult. Not my call. On a datefinder this week, he contacted me multiple times, almost pleading, to meet him for a drink whenever and wherever I want. I thought he was persistent and maybe different from the young guys. so I agreed to meet him over all the offers. Last minute to the meet, he texts me that something has come up and he cant meet. No reason at all. Naturally, am pissed off as I think he has just wasted my time and is playing me. I trusted him. First time to be stood up by anyone. But most disappointing is he seemed really nice and smart. In the end, he was just a boy of 30, who does not know what he wants and was very unreliable. Glad to have dodged that bullet. No young men for me from now on. Sticking to my guns...
