Venting

January 28 2015

I have read a few posts and noted that some people occasionally like to vent (fair enough and probably good for the constitution). My vents are that the last 4wks I have had to work 10-12 hrs days, due to the industry I work in and the weather, also because of the weather, the grass is growing way to fast and I therefore need to mow the damn lawns more often than I have time What are your "Vents", if any, or are you happy with everything in life. (just fun general vents and complaints about life in general, not serious), Could be Politics, sex, partners, weather, work, kids, parents, friends (or lack of), the cost of beer, wine, or salami !!!! anything.

Quoting 'Meeka100'And if you are calling me petty you can FO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Quoting 'MrsPeachyPearL' Going back furthePr in the thread, if people are ever sincerely concerned about something and they have the chance at the time to do something about it, that's what they should do. Talking about it afterwards is speculation petty. Yes, I believe it was people that meet and saw things for themselves MrsP. It is obviously all second hand information so I am not going to repeat it. If what they did say on this forum was true... and they themselves said they would report it... I hope they did. I certainly would if I saw something concerning with my own eyes. I hope we all would. I wasn't talking about you but about people who have seen something and not done anything about it who then go on to gossip about it. Too many people talk but don't do anything about things. Sorry.

Quoting 'Insomnian' That are always complaining and whining about this that and everything else in every single Topic that comes up. Maybe there is value in the complaints and whines? Maybe not. But if we can't ever say how we feel or not feel - when do we start to say we are human? Pet peeve - the status quo of society that doesn't leave room for emotions, thoughts, and more to be shared The expectation that everyone HAS to be happy, perfect and never show feelings, tears or anger.... I read many threads, but participate in few (well only this one so far) as I feel way out of my depth - but have learned alot from the 'regulars' as I know that my thoughts and feelings are not "alien"....others go through similar problems to me... and I am totally happy to have learned this... Kudos to those that express without prejudice! :) :) and thanks to the many that can put information on here that has been a learning lesson for me :) :)

Quoting 'Meander' Hope to see you post more. What do you mean you're out of your depth? That was a great post imo. :-) Hi Meander - thanks for the vote of confidence. By out of my depth? I mean that this is a big world and sometimes I feel very small. The realisation that so many people have become photo dependent over personality, asset dependent over laughter, etc. How many great chats do we have then release the photos - then BANG - blocked! And I know I'm not THAT much of an eyesore! (Their loss!!!! And they will never know what is in the losing... hehehe) What do these insecure, half-hearted, maybe still attached single men - actually want? Do they know that a photo will never prove reality? Or maybe in the photo they see - the female will still have perfect make up, perfect hair, perfect clothing hours after lots of sex... hmmm doesn't sound like too much fun if both parties are looking THAT perfect? hahaha and of course the pixel count of a photo definitely proves "that sexual click"? a-ha... sure... I actually had the opportunity to have a discussion with one guy about it... his response, when asked what was he actually looking for, was ... "I don't know".... LOL ooops and I wasn't going to put up a vent with this message? (I'm a nut! A smiling one at least :) ) Thanks to a number of guys on here - I have over 105 reasons of why to hate men - but a few special reasons of why to like 'em too. Maybe there's one out there that can help shift these odds? lol

Quoting 'MrsPeachyPearL' The surprising thing to me is that the thread heading is still available for viewing but the thread is not. That's a new one on me, I thought someone techy might have some idea. I suspect that the forum listing pages are cached, or only generated every so often (like the listing of threads and posts people liked that you get when you login) - this saves the database from doing as much work, but can show you invalid results when things get deleted. So even though a thread might be locked/deleted, the system only checks for that when you go to access that particular thread - not when it is just showing you a listing of possible threads.

Quoting 'Insomnian' That are always complaining and whining about this that and everything else in every single Topic that comes up. OMG it is only the whining that makes us real. "I think therefore I am" does not seem to cut the cheese in these parts, but to whine and suddenly I am real. How does the mind confirm it is, I am, real? who knows how many disembodied thinking minds fill this universe, thinking their way into being, but never existing. There is little doubt I am, but do I exist, now there is the problem. I can type and type and type, and no response, nothing from the void. My existence becomes rather tenuous, god I may just be a moment in the quantum flux, how without action of response do i know I exist. But then I whine, then the screen shows me I exist. I must be real for there is response, something that only whining can bring about. I think therefore I am, I whine, bitch, and moan to know I exist.

So even though a thread might be locked/deleted, the system only checks for that when you go to access that particular thread - not when it is just showing you a listing of possible threads. On the loose may ahve a point. the initial listing on the forum may be cached. they are just indeces or top-level pointers (if you want to call it) to another storage space on the db which may or may not be open for update or viewing (different access levels). The status of the topics are not kept on the cached table of indeces. The aforementioned topic may be locked or marked for deletion or for archive on the db until the scheduled batch run (it seems that is the case as no instanteneous update is done, hence it still shows up). That is where the clean-up/alignment occurs. So unless the listing gets updated and filtered to display only topics that are not deleted/closed, then this will keep occurring. This is not a difficult thing to do but an expensive exercise for rhp to implement for so little or no ROI. I have seen it happen many times. Just does not bother me. Hope you are well? xxx

I have been ok for the last year, but previously had issues with sciatic nerve issues, seizures and spasms in my back, could not even twitch without severe pain, had to be taken to the hospital in an ambulance 2x as could not move without severe pain. Caused by too much stress and lack of exercise in my situation, learnt that control of the core muscles stops the problem from occurring. Also understand movement and control of the core is the best cure, but easier said than done. (in my case anyway)

Not loving the forums lately. Sick of seeing people being mocked, trolled and attacked for having differing opinions.

The push to take away personal freedoms pushing one side of the argument to further the agenda of the current 'best for society' argument. Seriously? It's best for me if rich people pay their fair share of tax, but that's not going to ever be a popular agenda in a world where money is the ruler.

Quoting 'Single_Guy4U' Appears you can't trust Pirates (who'd of thought), anyone heard what happened to Cap'n No Beard. Appears he has sailed into the sunset with all of the grog from the Pirates quest. Grrr Really? I believe he honoured his commitment before. :-( .Here you go anyway, hope this helps and that it's a misunderstanding. :-).http://www.redhotpie.com.au/Adult-Forums/PIRATES-QUEST-48344

Single guy, he's honoured his commitment twice before so it's likely slipped his mind.

It is because it is out of character, thought maybe his ship had sunk, or he had been captured by evil pirates, as nothing heard from him since ?

but...and it is a big BUT as soon as I get back on a bike and go for my first non commuting pleasure ride I get pulled over, and ticketed. Then today I go for a ride with my son on his learner bike and they want to have a closer look at us, no ticket this time.

Seams any information I try to post regarding image security does not see the light of day. Well I say security, I mean that very much as a joke. Just remember once an images is on the web it never gets removed, and RHP is public, you dont need to log in to see images (any images) ;)

Felt like it was about to snow. Just checked temperature though on I-phone and it says 16 deg. at 7:00pm. (which is damn near a summers day in NZ). Perhaps we are spoilt up here in QLD

I live in Perth and visited Melbourne over the weekend, unfortunately my luggage didn't make the flight. So I ended up in light underclothes, a light body suit, coat, scarf with poncho type over top and wait for it, thongs for the duration of my trip. I'd swapped them for the boots I'd been wearing during the time I'd picked up and dropped off my bag for the next flight, LOL. I can tell you, waiting on the tarmac for that 7 am plane on the way home was, cold. My tits were fine but my extremities, not so much!
