Forum posters are a very small minority in relation to RHP as a whole. Given that there is a much bigger audience out there ... in addition to contributing to the overall persona ... who knows where comments can lead to. Well then I miss read the emoticon. Yes there is a very large audience that "Lurk" (for want of a better word). I have been queried on occasion by people in the real world I hardly knew regarding posts I have made. I am very aware what I say here has readers beyond the contributors, readers that I do not know the RHP identity of, yet know them in real life. Keeps the bastard (me) honest I would say.

that the naturally introverted choose to stand on the table and make bold proclamation , though when we do it is usually considered and well thought out . More often than not the intervening thought process of , to what end, and my all time favourite , will it be of benefit, halts the mouth from moving or the fingers from typing . this site and its intended use of finding compatible and like minded people to relate to and enjoy the company of is daunting enough without the added pressure of supplication at the feet of public scrutiny . minds , it is said , are like parachutes ,in that they only work whilst open . all that said , I enjoy the forum on this site so far , thank you all. my rant is over. N.

I like reading the forums every now and again, and it's cool to learn about you all through your posts ;-) The delayed posting does really annoy me though, seems pretty archaic and takes away the flow and banter I get in other forums. How does one get instant posting? - Posted from rhpmobile

Instant posting is awarded at the whim of the mods. Seems to be something based on posting often and behaving yourself. I was a guest for awhile and was a lurker. Then I started posting, and after a couple more months I coughed up the dollars for membership. Lo and behold instant posting arrived 24 hours later! That will be one beer thanks ;)

A very loooong time lurker here, 2 years now, how sad is that. But I have learnt a great deal and used urban dictionary more times than I care to admit. Thoroughly enjoy reading through the forums and feel like I know all the regular posters personally. Hopefully now I get the courage up to contribute more and get to know you all a little more too.
