My tattoos are for decoration they don't define me or make an intense statment, they are art work on a canvas . they have no dedication to passed friends or portraits of loved ones I saw it i liked it i got it simple my body my choices ...... And damn straight they're sexy as fuck on both men and women ... Artwork in any form ,if well crafted is a beautiful thing - Posted from rhpmobile

Exactly! I've always said if I get to 70 I'm going to get tattoos everywhere, smoke cigars and wear bikinis. VonnieVintage love your outlook. I like the ads that show a surgeon in scrubs and then their bodies covered underneath with ink. I knew a Supreme Court judge many years ago. She had two full sleeves underneath her clothes. If only everyone knew 😉

Lol. Why wait till 70 to do that. You'll be too blind to appreciate the finer details of a tattoo or two and too forgetful to remember where you stored your bikinis. And it will be a shame not to admire those beautiful curves of your now. I say, go for it now. well except for the smoking 🚬 part. Can't condone smoking. 😉 Happy and safe trip home.

Soft, you just reminded me of something When I did some consulting at this ultra conservative American company, I went on a work trip with them overseas. One night, the team just hang out by the pool afterwork. First time I've seen the team leader in casual gear. He was always in expensive immaculate suits. As he took his shirt off, his.chest and back was covered with tattoos. He used to be in the US marines and a couple of names of his fallen mates were on his back. Apparently, they saved him from an attack many years before. He survived but they didn't. He decided to have their names on his back to honour his 'brothers'. As he said to me in his lazy southern drawl, 'They always have my back'. my respect for the man had increased more after that. ☺

You may want to set up a separate forum topic for that discussion. So that we can stick to the topic as per Op. But interesting. your topic may deserve it's own forum for discussion. May be of interest to some or many. Just submit to the mods and hopefully it gets approved. Best wishes.

Quoting 'Willow_1'Did you get new ink? Bringing your question over here to appease those who bring us "back on topic" At the time of the photo I did have some fresh work done, the day before. I have now had more done on the same job but have not updated my photos yet. I'm slack sue me...it took twenty one years from start to finish on this job. There are memorial tattoos as the main theme here so I did them for myself and my absent friends, not to be "sexy"

I have multiple tattoos in multiple locations. I find people with and without them attractive. Tattoos are a very person choice that someone else's opinion, religions, etc don't apply to that decision making in any way. Being attracted to someone based on tattoos or something else surface based doesn't account for chemistry, etc and again is a personal choice. But regardless of surface if there is no deeper connection then your skin is tattooed then your might as well use your own hands because maximum enjoyment means a deeper connection. You want a quick fix use your hands or keep looking... 😂 - Posted from rhpmobile

Quoting 'VonnieVintage' Either way, like someone else mentioned we tattooed folk don't mind if you don't like them.. I never did them for anyone but me so not many people even know I have them.. - Posted from rhpmobile I have tattoos that no-one sees unless I disrobe. My tattoos are a part of me and my history. As VonnieVintage said 'we tattooed folk don't mind if you don't like them'. If they turn a guy off, then I know he is into the superficial and doesn't really want to know the real me.

but I am open to maybe one day finding a design I would consider making a life long commitment to. I enjoy hearing people's stories behind their tattoos, the significance in design and their reasons for getting them intrigue me. Just a bit off topic, DC, You can use the line "I am entitled to my opinion" as much as you want. A simple no to the question would have indicated your preference easily enough. Others managed that just fine. Were the comparison to graffiti line and "We sense a popcorn moment coming on. LOL. Sits back and watches" post really necessary?

It's amazing how people judge people by all sorts of things in my case tattoos. I sent a hello to someone and straight up oh I am not into tattoos. Just because of tattoos does not make me bikie or a bad person. I have a mother that loves me for what I do for her. 4 kids that think I am the best. I am still a human on the inside. If people stop judging people on the outside I am sure there would be more on the inside wink*

Each to their own... i guess id be considered heavily tattooed, not all mine tell a story, some i just fell in love with... i dont find all tattoos sexy, depends on the art and how the canvas carries it.. My parents still worry about what other people will think of my tattoos... i couldnt care less, i got them for me only, they are mine and i wear them with pride.... - Posted from rhpmobile

Love a tatt or two but guys r going overboard and they should have significance or tell part of your story originality is always important and if you must cover a whole limb I would expect a full scale blueprint of the entire sleeve or leg to show u developed this artwork over time with consideration and sense of style. Don't do it just cause all your mates are. Brands are way sexier anyway and more subtle at a glance - Posted from rhpmobile

I found more people showed interest than I ever thought, and strangely enough it's women who tend to show the most. I've had some women pull my shirt sleeve up after they caught sight of the bottom of it then it becomes a talking point with the word sexy used quite often. Not to mention in a more intimate situation where on a few occasions it's traced with their finger either before , during , or after. So for me now ' it's another part of the foreplay.

I know plenty of doctors and nurses and also police with tatts.. what i find insulting is judgmental people stereo typing others because of tatts.. Tattooed people dont care iff your tattooed or not.. some of the nicest and most thoughtfull people i know have tatts then you come across others that frown upon you for having them and judge .. narrow minded shallow souls.. ink doesnt define a person ! - Posted from rhpmobile

It's not a deal breaker ... But I'm not a fan. "Don't judge me cos I'm covered in tatts and showing you the finger in my PG" Ppl should think about presentation (tattoos and otherwise) and the message they are sending is all I'm going to say. But, hey Dwayne Johnson has tatts and he is the hottest man on earth ;) - Posted from rhpmobile

I think they are insanely hot, but only if the owner can tell you a passionate story about them. I don't have any, and am doubtful I would, so I admire people who can make a commitment like that. I enjoy listening to their passion and back story around selecting art for their body. Annnnddd it just reminds me of the bad boys my dad told me not to spend time with x - Posted from rhpmobile

I don't mind them... But oddly enough, I've found tattooed types to be a bit more judgemental. They claim not to be, but many with Tatts will refuse to date someone without them, which is, quite fascinatingly, judgemental! - Posted from rhpmobile

Personally, in general do I find tattoos sexy? No. However if you asked "Can they be sexy?" then absolutely. A recent example is, i was in a bar and noticed a lady ordering a drink. I only had a rear view. One of those women that make everyone in the bar jealous with the perfect form of her body. She had two circular tattoos on the back of her calves. They were different pictures but nice designs and just the right size. That women just went from making everyone in the bar jealous to being adored by all. Sexy AF. For me it may have been the same urge that the line up the back of stockings creates. That is sexy too. One thing for sure is that I find them all fascinating and quite often get told off by friends for staring at peoples tattoos. This does raise a question that I hope is appropriate to ask here without hijacking the topic. Those of you that do have tattoos - do you mind them being stared at?
