I also lost my husband to cancer. He was only 45 with no family history of the disease 😢 Just goes to show how unpredictable life can be. My dad's cancerous brain tumor in his right frontal lobe is 28x18mm (decreased), compared with 33x29mm previous scan. Still has his 24 supratentorial mesenchymal deposits, unchanged. His chest is stable, with his 14x25mm unchanged and lower lobe deposits unchanged. So conclusion is; his brain deposits have decreased and all other tumors stable. However his skin and veins are deteriorating. 13 mths to today's date, he's doing well as can be. His mental health is amaze balls. There's hope! Ms Foxy x

Today my entire family comes together. I'm always the peace keeper, protecting others from the vitriolic comments from my mother, my sisters inability to deal with any stress and her lashing out, seeing people I haven't seen for 20 years (and fighting hard to not tell them the truth that their father was a child molester) and trying to spend some quality time with my beautiful brother. I don't know how many more occasions I'll get with him :( I take solace in the fact that I have amazing people around me, awesome hubby, great BF and amazing friends who continually fill my life with a lot of joy :) So with as much brightness as possible, I'm heading off, will chat to you lot tomorrow. I end t for a drive out pass Esk today to a place called Hampton. Thoroughly enjoyed the drive. Met a nice man, drank some vodka, went skinny dipping and enjoy each other then drove home.

Since December. So, I went out to catch up with some friends and did some cooking at one of the friends' house. So when I got back from the shops two nights ago, hubby realised he had put his wallet on top of my car when he came home earlier (as you do?) It's a big 4WD so I can't see the top and of course the wallet was gone. The new iPhone 7plus however was still there! Anyway after cracking it and driving around for hours looking for the hitch hiking wallet he came home and we cancelled all of the credit cards (great timing for Melbourne). Last night he gets a phone call from someone saying they found some cards, and he picked them up. One visa and a sports club membership. Then tonight a different guy knocks on the door with his drivers licence! That's two separate good Samaritans in two days. We ar down $70 cash and some inconvenience, but less with the return of the licence. The clincher is we live in a low socio economic area often joked about as being full of scum. Yet two random guys went out of their way to return hubby's things. Humanity is looking up a little today 😀

Did a bit of a spring cleaning in my wardrobe today and realised that I have so many summer clothes, which will need to be passed on to the charity bins after this summer season! It will be a sad goodbye to some of my summer clothes, as I love the styles and they are made of light cotton fabrics 😭 but I have shrunk too much in size to keep wearing them any longer than this season! Hence, I'll have to let them go in late autumn (that's when the weather begins to cool down)! Perhaps I could use this as an excuse to arrange for another brief break to Melbourne again in the next spring season? 😜 - Posted from rhpmobile

That would be very strange. I've never had a hotel booking I didn't have to confirm when checking in, always a photo and address ID - a drivers license. If the the hotel didn't do that you shouldn't be liable.

I agree..... Only found out today when the hotel rang to ask why I hadn't checked out.... "Errr...cos I never checked in??? So if someone has claimed to be me, they've done so without my permission and given it was a non-refundable room, I expect there to be no extra charges charged to my credit card....if there is, we will have an issue...so if you don't mind, I would be appreciative to be let know the outcome of your investigation into this matter..." About 30 mins after writing this post, they rang again....apparently they'd let my room out to someone else, without it being cancelled prior, as I figured, it's paid for already, they've got their money, why bother cancelling ahead of time and seeing them double dip?? Makes me wonder now if I was actually going to get the room I'd booked even if I did show....

the best weekend in Melbourne. I needed the break and the fun.But now I'm home the guilt has set in. My daughter is in hospital. My ex husband has turned violent again after 3yrs of peace and silence, and has smashed the front of my car. I get to spend my last day off in a long while, crying over my daughter, dealing with insurance and filing another police report now that a witness to last night's incident has come forward.FML

Had the most delicious afternoon of relaxing and bonding with two amazing women yesterday. Get to the airport and missed check in by one minute!!!!! No negotiating. No other flights back to Brisbane until today. I had to ring hubby and break the news, and felt so bad for my kids. Betty my beautiful friend offered to put me up for the night. No taxis and Uber only have their black rates from the airport $140. Had to drag my suitcase and walk along the road trying to get Uber's normal rate. I was overwhelmed tired and hungover. A man pulled up and said he was an Uber and told me it's $75 but we can't run it through the app. I got in his car and thankfully he was legit. Came home to a beautiful roast dinner, comfort clothes and a special night with my Twinnie. Flying out tonight a lot more broke but things turned out beautifully. Handyman dude installed new air conditioner in my bedroom today. He came round with little notice and after he'd started I noticed that my bottles of lube were plainly visibly in my open cupboard, and by then I couldn't close the cupboard door or even get proper access to the cupboard to move the bottles as the bed had been moved and was in the way. Oh well, at least I hadn't left any of my toys out

It was the first "real" song I played on the piano when I was 9... it was the first song I conducted a competition choir singing and it was the first song my signing and singing (half of the choir was made up of deaf children) performed at the casino... so many memories, one little song sung by one little frog.... so special! ❤️🐸 Xx Miss L. I have a date with a lover coming up on Saturday and, as usual, I'm loving the build up to it. Multiple texts and phone calls, planning what we're going to do to, exchanging lots of pics. I know from past experience that the actual encounter won't play out as we've talked about... we'll get excited, and distracted, and so caught up in finally being with each other, that all plans will fly out window and we'll re-write the script to something equally sensational. Regardless, I love the days-long foreplay... it's almost as much fun as the real thing :) Anyone else feel the same?
