And the usual suspects have woken up from their slumber and smelt blood in the water. The group attack has commenced after burning the messaging trail in Rhp? 😏 You wonder why people don't post contradictory views because of this bullying pack mentality. 😒 I've been here long enough to see how it works, so not surprised. I still refused to kowtow to your way if it doesn't sit well with my beliefs. Not going to happen. 😎 I can understand if forum bullying that is how you get your kicks and the forum is the only thing that's going on in your life. Now, I feel sorry for you if the forums is only way you validate your current existence or makes you feel important or popular. I definitely can understand your behaviour here. Sad. I'll leave you to it and stop feeding the sharks. you all have fun kicking in the sandpit. I have a real life to lead. A good night 😊

Kool I also looked up my own name (real name) and was pretty chuffed, sounds suspicious to me. Does any name come up with anything negative? I was lmao reading mine. Something about everyone liking me. You've gotta be fucking kidding me 😜 So I tried touchy, got the expected definition, overly sensitive, snappy/snippy lol takes things personally/literally, can't take a joke. Pretty accurate, sounds just like me 😀 Then scrolled down a bit and found this: touchy - when a person gets curious of something and wants to touch it 😊 I like that, sounds like someone I know 😉 Also found 'touchies' - Intimate act between two (or more) individuals involving the use of his/her hands and/or mouth to provide sexual stimulation to his/her counterpart 😇 'Touch' should be a good read 😂😂

I don't need to say anything further ... your approach and posts speak volumes about your lack of resilience, your arrogance and holier than though attitude. Your tell tale condescending tone used to the last ... Maybe you might be so kind as to leave some pointers as to how I might acquire and live a real life ... I'm sick of this fairytale existence I call my life. Mary

Be different if I liked my neighbour, fake and nosy doesn't work for me, she makes me want to run for cover when I see her, I make noise when I orgasm, not much leading up to that unless I'm with company, but I have to listen to her moaning and groaning for bloody ever, all the while thinking just get it over with so I don't have to listen to you Never once seen her with company. In her 30's I think Anyway, just don't have a TV or stereo I can turn up, do have another idea, then again at 6am that would upset the other neighbour who was put on this earth to complain, and listen to me lol coffee, yes I need coffee 🍵

Lily has a lot of lovely stuff going on and the renewed slurs on her nice life ( in disguise of having a go at her character ) wont be affecting her that much. "What other people think of me is none of my business" said RuPaul. Very true. Especially when its on an online forum. And coming from people who constantly contradict themselves. Going from having a bad life one week to the perfect one the next. You cant take them seriously. I know the forums are an outlet for some people, which is good, as some people are not social and its a way of communicating and belonging. But they can become very heated at times. Everyone is entitled to an opinion and whether we agree with it or not, theres no need for the pack attack which can ensue. Most people are thick skinned and move on, but some people who are a bit more fragile dont handle it too well. On the grand scale of things these are just itty bitty online forums with good days and bad days. Its entertainment, not a Court of Law.

I thought using the correct spelling without referring to it was very subtle and it's something I have done often as have others. And she was right though wasn't she ! Except she was the one cut down to smithereens. Some of the later comments went way past being a joke and bordered on spiteful. I fart in your general direction. ( And please don't bother trying to take me down, I've been through the mill on here for having my own opinion and I really do not give a flying fuck.)

Are you talking about spiteful comments about the OP's spelling mistake? I've looked at that thread and I cannot see anything said about the spelling mistake itself that could remotely be classed as spiteful. Unless some comments have been deleted since then. All I can see is some good humoured joking about it, and if we're not allowed to have a bit of a joke about something like that anymore then that is really bloody sad. Please note, I'm not attacking you, insulting you, or having a go at you. Not everybody who disagrees with you or asks you a question is trying to 'take you down', and it's good to know the difference between debate, disagreement, and personal attack.

Defending a friend on a forum????? Is that kosher??? I'm not sure how I feel about that, I'll just check to see if I'm feeling bullied! And Koko, I suppose your reference of the 'good life one day ... bad day the next' could resonate with anyone I suppose BUT it does resonate with me as I've posted some difficulties I've been having. Regardless ... I'm wondering why value there's in using people's words and stories as weapons against them ... that's the only intent I see :( it's a fucking sad day when that shit happens. Fuck that!!!! Mary :(

What a beautiful sunny warm day today! 😊 31c and warm 23c nights. Busy at work, burning midnight oil but hitting project deadlines and budgets. looking good for a bonus👍. By the time I get back to Melbourne, spring is around the corner. Woohoo!! '😍🙌 Oldest son been saving for car for 12 months, got a bargain. he offered to pick me up fr airport in his newish car and buy me lunch. Despite moving out last year to shared home with female mates, working 2 jobs (day and evenings ) and never received a cent from Centrelink, he cut down on partying to once a week. Great to see kids his age having goals and aspirations and really working hard for it, without asking $ from mom or dad. And volunteers to help teach karate at local community club. Goals? Opening up his own catering business and a bar before 25. Big goals but he'll make it as hard work doesn't fazes him. Youngest working part time stacking shelves every day during school holidays and second job handing out flyers wirh his mate promoting his mate's brothers hipster bar selling their own craft beer and burgers. He is happy getting paid some money and in burgers. Lol. Goals? save for next year's music festival tickets, a new iPhone and travel to Vietnam with mates end of next year. His last income tax return should help. Got him to read financial books like Wealthy Barber and Rich Dad Poor Dad (series), etc. Start them young. Great to see kids strong, happy and healthy. Well balanced focused and independent. Gives me strength to pursue my happiness and job offers overseas without worrying about them. Simple pleasures. Life's great. 😊👍

Annie ... I'm sorry the thread took this turn, it's disrespectful to you and other posters who get caught in the onslaught. I for one apologise for my behaviour but not my opinions ... mwah 💋💋 Koko, if my bad language offended you, apologies. I'll be forgiving of your patronising tone with the kisses comment. It's my cute signature and closing ... but I understand it irks you. I won't change that so it might be best you don't read my posts. If we're not careful this thread will be shut down ... I for one, won't be responsible for that :( Too many of us have a network on the forums (we live in the internet age and it is a means of communication for an entire society) Many of us have great lives but also do have great communications through chat rooms and forums, RHP is no different. Hopefully everyone can be reflective of their behaviour ... everyone has something to learn about themselves here. Mary xx

You being a single mother, understand that being a single parent, you give up a lot of your time and liberties and money to put food on the table. I don't have parents to live with, to pay my bills or lots of disposable income to buy fun stuff like lingerie, toys, facials or go on extensive holidays. No hubbies to share the work load at home or child rearing duties. But we live with it, it is our lot, and do our best. And life goes on and we truly become resilient. no point whinning or extracting sympathy as it's a waste of precious time to solve our issues. l just need to explain to kids the realities and priorities that gadgets or latest fashion stuff come after school, food, mortgage, and utility bills are paid. They do get it and are resourceful and hungry enough to approach employers for a job to buy their phones. The look of pride on their faces on purchasing their first iPhone and Pc? Priceless. And they appreciate it more and learn about money management early on. I told them I bought my first house at 22 and used it to buy second house a few years later after marriage. I live simply in a small beachside suburb as it's mainly myself there as kids come and go. in the future they know it's all theirs as the prospect of working full-time overseas is most likely. Saves me on tiring regular commutes but that is in a couple of years when youngest comes of legal age. Like many other FIFO here, we sacrifice family time in order to survive. We just hope our kids understand what we give up and being away from them is the hardest sacrifice. Those with kids will get it and perhaps some single people do. We all have our crosses to bear. ☺ Suffering is always around the corner. I just put it in perspective that I own them when they arise. No point getting mad at the world. Who wants to hear a 'constant' whinger or victim? just get on with the job and deal with it. it is nothing more than a little glitch in the bigger scheme of things.

The only regular events I know of frequented by singles of both kinds* * at the same time. (I know of couples made at their events). Lost a few kgs even. But no cigar. So my decades long search for a young (ie currently around 40 or under etc, no judgement pls) female partner continues... It's OK, when I get to my 40's and above it won't be applicable anymore anyway! (Just like 18-25 isn't applicable now considering I took way too long looking ;) ) - Posted from rhpmobile

I know some parties have age/size/look requirements and want to know why you mentioned it. Just curious. Good for you if you feel good about it. Btw. It's ok to define the age or look of your desired partner and should not be judged. Your life, your preference. we all do it. 😎 Good luck with your search! 😉 👍

I am losing weight for my own health goals, but getting to this kind of event is also an extra motivation. Plus, as I mentioned, it's the only regular event in Vic that tries to encourage single men and single women to the same event. I have tried on other occasions other vanilla types of dating such as singles nights, speed dating, and introduction agencies etc. However in this scene at least there is a sex positive environment where you can talk about all types of common interests to start with, that the mentioned event would have been good for. I have no ill feelings whatsoever towards the organizers, as every event ever run in this scene has a certain selection and criteria of people they want to attend. - Posted from rhpmobile

Quoting 'MadhattersCat' I was looking for something interesting and unusual to do so i read the last 60 pages of this thread. Some of it was indeed interesting, some of it was sad, and some of it made me laugh. But.... Only one particular subject actually made me go WTF !!! Stealthing Now, i consider myself quite worldly and experienced, however i must admit that i had never heard of it. For me it is not the fact that I find it completely immoral and a severe breach of trust to covertly remove a condom (as i imagine most people on this broadminded site would) - nor that it has yet to have a conclusive legal definition. The bit i just can’t get past is that it has a name at all. And such a suggestive one at that. I am undecided whether my shock means that i am turning into the obstinate old man i promised i never would or if this is evidence to back up the prophecy that our current civilization has peaked and we are on the path of debauched destruction like the Romans before us. Love what you have written there, MadhattersCat! Totally agree! Conscience, moral compass... it seems to be almost fashionable to trash these bastions in these modern times. Sliding down a slippery slope and into the deep, winding rabbit hole, to borrow the Alice in Wonderland theme your nickname invokes! The totally fucked up are ruling the world these days. They are the majority and their cacophony is drowning out the controlled volume of the sensible and the rational. If Dickens thought that the Industrial Revolution was Hard Times, he'd have a Grand Mal seizure to see what passes as acceptable in the world today!

Does anyone else feel the noose tightening at work? We have to work harder, faster, better... and at the end of the day, the remuneration for most of us is so measly that it does not catch up with the crazy REAL inflation (bugger the stupid doctored statistics the ABS tries to deceive the public with!). Disposable incomes have just gotten lower, savings are at an all-time low, and household debt is on the rise. Time to watch the indicators, take in a deep breath, and make contingency plans. Victoria is going to have it pretty rough. We've lost 40% of the foreign property investors due to the new restrictions and taxes. I hope my calculations are faulty because in today's AFR, the housing price increase whatchamacallit index forecast for the next quarter shows a hefty -75%! Good for some, bad for others. Too much to read and learn, too little time. How do I attain King Midas' touch? Or even replicate Jack's stunt with his very LONG and very THICK... beanstalk?! Harharhar! The beans initially look puny, but oh my... they become loooooooong and so very thiiiiiiiick!!! OOOOooooohhh!!! And if you ride them, they'll take you up up up into the heavens!!! They are so hard, so strong, and they can get you very high! I love men with their formidable giant beanstalks! Darnit... what I'd do to have the talents of a Quant right now! The smart Quant vultures are poised at their perches now, all waiting and watching for the perfect moment to swoop in to make their kill. I want a part of their carrion feast too but I've lost my multifocals and my eyesight is bad. Shucks!!! Any Quants in here who care for some barter trade?! Harharhar!

I hear you. It makes it very difficult for the next generation to own a home. 😞 I'm currently on assignment in a few Asian countries. the workplaces are worst and it seem it is tolerated in expense of workers rights and mental /physical health. Spent the afternoon yesterday getting a manicure and pedicure at a salon next to the hotel. 2nd time in a row. We chat and I've met his 6yo who walks home from school to the salon 1km away in searing heat for lunch. she works 7days a week, everyday as the owner won't let her have time off. She doesn't have the luxury to take her son out to play or socialise during the day as she works. Boy just hangs out in the salon, drinking coke and eating rubbish food. as she is a single mother and they live in a nearby boarding room the size of a closet. Time off is in the evening where she shops for food and stuff for the boy. I always tip her generously as the cost of a manicure and pedicure is cheap as a cup if coffee in Australia. We in Australia have a lot to be thankful for. U always count my blessings. I invited her and her son and one of the other lovely worker for dinner at the hotel tonight and free access to the resort pool on my account (paid for by my clients 😊). Another perk of the job properly spent. In my next visit, I'm taking him books and crayons and paints.

It seems in general the economy is sliding in many regions. WA has already gone, North Queensland too but not as bad as WA and looks like it might be on the verge of making some gains. Sydney is still going nuts but many other places the screws are tightening and wages are dropping or remaining steady even though CPI continues to rise. And yes that means less disposable income. Agree totally with PP that times are tough out there in business and to keep afloat they are pushing down wages and wanting harder work in return. On the flip side, Lily has hit the nail on the head in that no matter how hard we have it, there will be millions of others worse off.

Life is cut dramatically short sometimes.Hug your loved ones people, and make peace with everyone else. Don't waste life on bitterness. A fellow at a neighbouring site ended his life last week, with explosive detonators. He had problems at home, I heard.I didn't know him, but I remember him. I'd shared beers with him at the bar in February. We'd talked motorbikes and travel. He liked diving on old wrecks. He was a nice guy.

Sorry Cool, I ain't going to "make peace" with everyone, let alone with some of my family members. You can choose your friends but not your family. No way will I make peace (with some family), just because someone is ill or something has happened. Especially if they haven't been around or treated that ill person right to start with. Its funny tho, when a family member is ill, and all the thirsty ones come out of the woodwork seeking wills etc, property etc thinking they are entilleted. Stuff that - no way will I make peace with that nor hug them. Ms Foxy

Feeling more than a little sad today... One of my oldest/closest friends just lost her dad to cancer. He was a huge part of my life growing up, as was their entire family. The funeral is on Saturday (in country NSW) and I will be at my god son's wedding in Noosa. Know where I need to be, but a lil devastated that I don't get to say goodbye to a man that I love and admire, nor support my gorgeous friend and her family :(

Condolences. You are where you need to be and can say your special goodbye in your own time and privacy without being there. You friend will know you are there for her regardless of where you are physically. She will understand your choice and be grateful of the strength, guidance and understanding you share with those you love.

Wow ! I'm in shock, wasn't expecting that ! The feminists must be apoplectic ! I can just see Commanders Abbot and Bernadi et al sitting around with cups of tea wistfully wishing it was true. Mormon(?) fascism struth !

I've watched the whole series and didn't become apoplectic once. Not sure why a feminist would become apoplectic over anything in it, unless they are of the very militant variety. I liked it well enough but didn't find it as amazingly good as so many people are saying it is. Yes good acting, yes amazing cinematography, but it didn't entirely wow me. I'll admit, after awhile I started finding the constant close-ups of her face quite irritating. Yes they want to convey emotion and she has a very expressive face, but it just started to feel contrived to me. Same with all the slow motion stuff, seems like every TV show has these constant slow-mo scenes these days and it's overdone, IMO.

Next on the watch list is the first season of Top of the Lake with the same lead actress, have been meaning to watch it for ages but never got around to it. Just found out they're releasing a second season soon - based in Sydney instead of NZ - so decided I should finally tick it off my list.

Sail, I just read an article in the smh "A critically drug-resistant strain of gonorrhoea dubbed a "super-superbug" has been detected in every Australian state and territory by a new national surveillance system." So, seems it is here. Wondering if we'll be seeing a sudden increase in dams and gloves, next to the condoms, at chemists and sex parties. I think black gloves could be kinda sexy.
