If I were to sit down and work it out, I expect I could come up with a number that might be close but would it be accepted or would you (or others) think I was skiting or exagerating. It's really a no win situation for some of us and maybe we'd like to voice that opinion even though it doesn't answer the question asked. I would say this is about right while in high school lot of action from 2nd half of yr 11 and all of yr 12 (thanks to studies that I attended away from home).While in Uni - quite busy in between exams (great for stress relief), cowgirls and foreign students from Europe you rock girls...After Uni (life as a photographer has its benefits)Then life in Hollywood as a photographer benefits tripled.... showing awards, still on movie sets, magazine covers definitely pays off.Move to Perth, decrease in action until after divorce...Yep I would say that number is about right....Granted, I'm no Wilt Chamberlain with over a 1000 reported...

I too am finding it unusual and slightly hilarious that everyone seems to be exploring the question and the ethics of asking, rather than just answering. Surely it doesn't matter in a place like RHP? I would estimate my (Kitten's) count at ~25-30. Lost my viginity at 15, youngest guy I ever slept with was 19 and a virgin, eldest was 45 and a married CEO. There ya have it!

Most of the studies done on this (apparently scientist get horny too), it turns out that guys are usually quite truthful with the numbers, and girls almost universally under report sexual partners. The prevailing theory is that women are under ubiquitous social pressure to appear 'chaste', where as the guys are not... From a bilogical point of view, you'd think it would average out evenly (I mean,all those straight guys must be sleeping with women, right?). But I dont know if that's because some women get waaaay more sex than the average, or not... I find a lot of the time that people presume that because I am here, and because there are semi nude photos of me out there on the big bad world of the interwebs (not just on here) and because I write about sex and post said stories on my blog that I am quite promiscuous (I know that isn't spelt right but I don't really care right now!!). The reality is that compared to most of the respondents here my number is quite small, about 20, over my whole life. I sometimes feel embarrassed, not because the number is that high, it really isn't. But because it is smaller than some people assume it is. JJ - Including everything from the swinging scene its probably circling around the 150 mark (and this is not overstating). I think this would be higher if i wasnt in a completely monogamous/non swinging relationship for about 8 years. Number went up quite quickly in the last 2 years.Tavi - Before starting on the swinging scene, 6. For only a couple of months ive been doing it its probably up to around 15. I was a bit of a late starter, but I've also barely been in relationships. I dunno, I can get laid a lot easier than I can get a girlfriend. I'd say my average is 2 a year since I started. Some years were a lot more than 2, and I've had some real lean years too. I was once with a woman who asked me the number right in the middle of sex. I never did figure out if she was going to be horrified or turned on by the figure, I was only her second.
