I don't think they realise they're the vocal minority. Funny how Touch ended up banned from the thread (momentarily at least?) and yet the the fooling around and disrespect goes on, and on... Anyone would think they're under the impression their rights are being impinged upon. Peachy, respects the right of people to not have to cop abusive language (characterized by insulting or coarse language)

Everyone has the right to be here and have a decent conversation / debate without being harassed .. People have different opinions , that's normal and accepted .. With regards to vulgar lanuage can't stand it when I'm on a bus and all you hear from up the back of the bus loudly in an agressive tone and pretty much every second word is... fucking, cunt, fuck ect it's really unnearving, unpleasant and leaves me feeling unsettled. It's unfortunate that the drivers a majority can't do anything as they very likely to get verbally abused or bashed and I have heard stories where that happens sadly.

When we start talking cemeteries and bondage.. spanking and vulgarities..it may be only the dead and depraved who hear the bad language.. In THIS aspect, I will stay on topic and NOT talk vulgarities..You and I can take this aside.. I have stalked you already, so, NOW I will get on Google.maps and find the closest cemetery to you.. AND.. when we get caught, It will make national headlines when I blame the Catholic Church and their stupid and depraved idea of putting a teenage boys boarding college on one side of their cemetery and a teenage girls boarding college on the other...And everyone who went there will be like..."OMFG!!! I never thought anyone would actually TELL about what we did there"AND of course, there will be a woman or two who ACTUALLY hope I don't name names.

In daily life I swear quite a bit. That’s me, can’t help it much, have been doing it for a while now. On the flip side I understand the audience and bite my tongue until the other person opens the forum though in most cases. Here on the forums, and generally in any text, I don’t see any need most of the time. But on the other hand don’t really give a toss if someone else does if that’s who they are. I’ll admit to not reading the seven pages of responses above, but one thing I’ll put out Jayme is that you say you don’t swear in front of ladies. While that is chivalrous and an attribute, in most cases these days you’ll find it pretty hard to offend many if you let the odd one slip. Yes there may be an age criteria attached with that in some broad term, but I wouldn’t have thought there’d be too much need these day in the average population to use different language depending on the gender of the audience? Not having a go at you there, just my thoughts. Maybe I grew up in a more aggricultural area? Maybe I didn’t grow up lol? Or maybe I should have read more than the first page of comments too?! Plenty of truth in what you had to say.. If it's a generation thing , I'm in good company having many mates ( and I'm talking hard as nails retired ex footballers ) who think likewise ? But we're smart enough to realise today's generation think different.. When that happens , we generally accept that's just the way it is.. To a point that is ? Still ' If any man becomes vulgar in mixed company around our group he'd quickly be pulled into line.. That was always the way it's been , so to us , it's normal. Like you , I've been guilty of dropping the odd word in the wrong place. But I'm always quick to apologise when that happens.. If you have no respect for yourself , you'd definately have no respect for anyone else , as evident here...

Jayme questioned the recent excess of language in the forums to open with. That's how I took it anyway. Swearing isn't a problem to me but gratuitous swearing (swearing for the sake of it) is.

Several years back I visited my brother who was at the time living in Dubbo, setting up a business His kids were young and attended a local primary and kindy What caught my attention was the swearing coming from the 5-9yo aboriginal children The frequency of use of F & Cs and the casual throwing them around really took me by surprise. I say that by way of comparison to kids of all kinds of backgrounds at my own child’s school at that same age. Clearly kids take on such behaviour from their environment.... but the curious question I had was.... .... is it right for me to judge these environmental factors of their upbringing that led to it I’d say yes.... as environment wound also impact upon my child - Posted from rhpmobile

A Lot! As long as I can remember, I was always a rebel. I just try to be mindful of my audience, so I don't do a lot of it here. It's the same as keeping my voice down in the shops, I'm aware of the audience. When I'm with friends, I'll let it rip. We apologised to our neighbours early on, well me, I apologised. Because they have kids and knowing we can hear each other clearly. It's a matter of a time and place, balance. Language loses it's ability to shock when it's peppered through every sentence, and that is probably part of what is happening here. It's gone through the roof to the point of ridiculous throughout the forum. As To generalise this as a public forum and say that is what's happening everywhere is wrong. Because we have the ability to filter profanity on facebook (don't roll your eyes at me :-P) and most groups I am in are not full of regular swearing. Each to their own because it doesn't offend me so much as the lack of respect for someone who says it is bothering them. Labelling them with fragile egos etc. But, I have a sense this thread was taken personally because of the judgement at the end. So, Peachy

That is My mix up, I think someone else used it on a different thread in the same context as me and I followed from there. I still adopt the same attitude because the communities I tend to frequent are different in respect to individual posters. Encouraging and supportive even. It's a beautiful thing to see every day. It reflects our confusions, intentions, disappointments and our ecstasies.We are bewildered by language. Our experiences are buried under the rubble of words. How can we not judge people on the basis of language they use when we judge them on everything else?... food they eat, songs they like, appearance, habits ...Of course we do. Interesting how people who never lived in a socialist (left) country have so many assumptions about they way people in those countries lived/live. It must be all the words they heard through ‘trustful’ media. I can recall many young people in those countries watching Hollywood movies with complete titled translations of swear words. No censorship whatsoever. While I knew also some Americans who never saw Monty Phyton show because it was forbidden in the USA. (Ms)

I said it as I saw it, the behaviour on this thread was childish, doesn't make anyone a loser but it doesn't put them in a good light either. As I also commented, the flood through the whole fora was obvious & selfish with the lack of consideration for anyone except self. It's good to see some actual engagement with the topic finally. I'm all for using names too because I think it's manners, but it's always an interesting way to see how people use the lack of one as an intended slight. 🍑y

With due respect , you view this through the eyes of a woman, I view it through the eyes of a man raised by a single mother who instilled in us that a man always shows respect for a woman . A throw away line to some ' is often a mountain to others and its almost impossible not to get your lines crossed sometime. But to my way of thinking , if a man can't think past himself and degrades everything and anyone around him without showing any respect for himself or others , you could call him a lot more than that...

We were tasked to write a story.. I decided on a dark seedy detective with a very descriptive intro involving my man waking hung over knocking the coffee cup over in his hung over stupor and swearing about it. I lost marks for that... was setting the scene and defining the individual. I was sore about that.. life's like that, we swear.Having said that, every second word doesn't have to be bloody or the other ones.Yeagh, time and place, mum would still cuff me.

See, I love to throw around a few choice words and some of them would probably make the hair on the back of your neck stand up, but KC doesn’t swear (only in the bedroom). There is always a time and place for everything, I certainly don’t swear around people who I know don’t swear, I don’t swear at work (ok maybe under my breath) and I don’t swear around KC, but I sure as hell do let them ripe in here if I need to and on my personal FB account and anywhere else I see fit. I’m definitely not offended by anyone language in here, come to think of it I’m not offended by much at all. How I see it if you don’t like to read it, then scroll on (like I’ve learnt to do over the years with some of the posters and the shit they post in here). 💋

... why I no longer care what the trolls are up to .. Well the thread well and truly ran its race and most agree there's no real place for the foul mouthed few. As expected , there were the few ( probally all half dozen of them ) who went down kicking and screaming but I believe most still like to show and receive respect no matter if it's a sex site or not.. Being a sex site doesn't and shouldn't mean anything goes ? The other reason is , my hearts not into being here ATM. In real life you get to deal with people face to face , where here ,there's too much unsolicited moronic cheap shots ..and I can't cop that.. I like men to be men, if you can't say things to a man's face , you don't hide behind a keyboard.. To the trolls ... I leave here on my terms not yours .. and it was always going to be that way .
