I've been through quite a few different sites of which craigslist has easily been the worst when it come to things like this. However I was hoping that verified/paid accounts would deter such things on here but I guess I was naive to think it would be any other way! Guess I'll just have to revert back to my paranoid reverse image searching persona . I've updated my profile with a line about it so there's no surprises!

I tried to reverse image search a PG picture, when I right clicked on it a window told me the function was not available.I feel a bit strange about trying to do that search but still a little wary about a woman who wants to meet a man twenty years older. It would be nice if she turns out to be genuine.

Maybe I'm just uninspired.....but in an effort not to misrepresent myself now that I'm back maybe I should pull out the i6, switch off location services and take pictures of my pictures 100km away from home and not on the same day in an effort to avoid cyber crime 😳😂 ~ yup I'm inspired now ~ Indy OS PS Most know me as a blonde I've only been red for 18mths. It was a social experiment.....that stuck. 🙄

haha what is it with firemen profiles, the ones with the pictures from a calendar I'm so naughty. If I doubt the pictures, as a few on here can testify to, I tell them. No holes barred with me One guy had a heap of hot pictures up, then hiding right down at the end, the last picture, was a real picture of him, or a current one. Way bigger, heavier, entirely different body shape, face looked different, everything, like looking at a model standing next to a regular overweight dude, so I told him as I do. He was not impressed, said they had to starve themselves for the last calendar blah blah whateva and that makes it okay does it? Here's the thing, no it doesn't and I have zero sympathy if you feel like I've stabbed you in the heart. You deserve it. How about keeping it real. How about showing yourselves the way you are NOW. Let me try and break this down for you. I need to know what the person looks like that I'm gonna have sex with, pretty simple really, or it should be. Reason I'm using this example again is because I just saw another fireman profile and it looks airbrushed within an inch of it's life. Real six pack? I think not

Personally, my body weight ranges from about 75kgs to about 78kgs, and I am generally in the 76-77kg range. But how you present depends on how you are feeling at the time. When I am active and spritely, my abs respond and keep things nice and tidy. But on the same day, when I am lazing around, it all hangs out. The abs are relaxed and out comes the belly. There is bugger all fat there, it is just that I am in "let it all hang out mode", instead of "tight as a drum", "go go go" mode. The solution...go go go...energiser bunny style 😈😈😈 LOL.

I let it go after that message. I'd made up my mind prior to receiving it really to let it go. I can't continue with no trust. It would never have been the same. I don't own a set of scales anymore but there was a time not so long ago I was frantically trying to stop the scales from dropping below 50 kg. Didn't matter what I ate, I just kept losing weight. It took a lOT of chocolate, takeaway crap food, stuffing food in when it gave me cramps, took about 3 months to slow my metabolism and level it off. I'm good now but that scared me at the time. My sister has overactive thyroid and the concern was it might have happened to me too, not something you're born with necessarily, can develop later in life, which is what happened to her and it's really dangerous. She'll be on medication for the rest of her life. Pretty happy I didn't have the same thing. No idea what I weigh now but would guess mid 50's or a bit higher. I honestly don't ever have to worry now. But I exercise a fair bit too, love that If you're high 70's, that's fine for a guy isn't it? I'd look at that as a good weight range for men, but I guess you know yourself what works for you

My only issue with the 600g is that it completely discredited my previous post. Along the way of making a point that weigh fluctuates, I (publicly) proclaimed to be within a certain range and then discovered that I did not match that criteria. Which is the thrust of this thread. So I publicly admitted that my previous statement was incorrect. It was the fact that I said something that was untrue that bothered me..not the numbers per se. So I will amend that to 75-80kgs. 😀 PS: I wasn't seeking to make judgements on others. I think that sexiness is all about attitude. 👍

You're right about the 50 images, plenty of room there to upload individual pictures some people REALLY don't know how to use computers, but they might know one trick and use it in weird ways. e.g. people who can't take a screenshot so they take a picture of the screen using their phone and then send that, or they know how to screenshot but inexplicably don't know how to just save the picture (or can't) and don't know how to crop it down afterwards. I don't like those sorts of 4 in 1 pictures - they make sense on instagram or twitter or something where you can't elegantly post multiple photos in a way that links them as a series belonging together, or belonging to a certain instant in time.

okay so Mr Urn, I want your expert opinion here. This is serious. I appear to be scaring them off lol well when I ask for specific pictures to do my own verification, it isn't easy, because it seems to overstep privacy and implies lack of trust. Quite a few don't respond very well, but I can't trust without getting them to do it. I've been burned too many times. So to explain what it's like for me, I'll do my best. There are men, not many, but some, who will go to whatever lengths to instigate communication, to try to slip through the radar, so I have to protect myself from that, from them. Unfortunately, that then makes it hard for all the honest, genuine ones who are just putting a profile up, we get in contact, it shouldn't have to be hard. But I find I won't talk to anyone now until I do my own verification. Some profiles are very believable but so many aren't. My experience is guys either aren't very interested in providing current vision, sometimes innocently, but quite often, still using a variety of pictures, none of which seem to marry together. 8 pictures could be 8 different people. We all have variances with our pictures so I'm not unaware of that, but why are they offended by me asking? If I get a negative response to my request, I leave it at that usually, because I don't want to be intimate with someone when the connection starts out with a negative tone. It turns me off. And from their point of view, they could potentially be seeing my request as negative. So I don't know, for me it's that or nothing. I feel like I put out with pictures, why shouldn't they? Love to hear your thoughts and you don't have to agree with me, how would you feel about such a request?

sorry, the request is to take a picture holding something up written on a piece of paper, or just holding something up, showing their body and face, not necessarily nude, just so I can get the overall look and know for sure they haven't used pictures that are 20 years old or of someone else

Thanks, I just feel like I'm pushing shit uphill most of the time haha the interesting thing with this, for me, is that I'm not sure I'd be that impressed if someone asked me, or questioned my honesty or validity, so can understand how it might not sit well with them. The age old problem of a few spoiling it for the rest

Or suggest Skype. We all know the pitfalls of cyber dating with all the catfishing happening around. If they won't oblige then they are not meant to meet you. they can send the verification pic at their own time when they feel they look their best. Do you ask for their one eyed jack to be verified too? 😁

Touch, I can appreciate that it might be difficult for some, with special circumstances, to provide a verification pic, but for everyone else, it is dead easy. All you need is a means of sharing a pic (without disclosing your phone number)..KiK for example. If they won't willing comply, and can't provide a GOOD reason for not being able to do so, then move on. Keep your guard up and stay safe. 👍

There was a time where I had a string of guys lying or avoiding speaking of their said 'member' and I got caught where a few were practically female, so decided I'd never hook up again without seeing it, and seeing it attached to them, meaning showing all of them. I show all of me so fair's fair lol I don't worry so much anymore but yeah still like a variety of pictures showing the full person. I hate 'bitty' pictures because they do on occasion, tend to steal some pictures and have some of them. Oh and I'm very happy to hear your thoughts anytime

The Energiser Bunny diet worked much better than the Gin & tonic diet. 77.7kgs now. 1.6kg in 11 days...I only I could keep up the good work...sadly back at work now. 😭

To make it worse, financially, I'm pushing shit uphill, or it's pushing me downhill more like. I'm going backwards. I'm worried there but take each day as a new one. I just need to get more sleep, feel like I'm killing myself, and not getting anywhere. Anyway, that was TMI sorry. In answer to your question, hard for me to comment from personal experience, having only hooked up with men (off here) thus far. I have however heard some interesting feedback/comments about that from guys. One guy said this woman wasn't what he was expecting in any respect. And he was stuck with her for a whole weekend, poor thing. Said it was like walking down the street with his Mother 😂😂 worse, sexually, really old fashioned and boring. Of course that part was trumped up to something vastly different. Yes there are wannabe's and the wannabe tragics I call them, where airbrushing, makeovers and professional photographers are required. I wear no make-up and take bathroom selfies, or beach selfies in summer, so natural works for me. That example I gave was one of many, guys get really frustrated with women using all of the special effects to look like super models, reality they say is quite different. So have you had that happen too? Just as a footnote to that, I've heard women on the forum throw in a comment out of the blue about being large or a big girl, when there's no indication of that with their pictures? And then guys start hitting on them or complimenting them. My thoughts are, don't compliment them, that just encourages them to continue deceiving. Heaps I see also who do the opposite, comment on how small they are, not even close, but that's not deceiving, obvious for anyone to see. Shit, I'm on the mobile and can't see how long this is. About to post, fear I've written a book again 😯

I agree with Honeybadger9 -A recent picture of face and body shot should give you a fair idea if you are interested- and perhaps a Skype video call to follow up before investing precious time and to avoid disappointment. After all we are not cattle on RHP with choice cuts displayed and no certificate of authenticity of where the meat was grown ( how much it was massaged) and butchered.
