Different flirt. Damn... is the one you send when you visit a profile, and think Damn, I do actually think you're hot. The one I mentioned us from 'Hot or What', where you just rate pics. Seems to add your profile every pic change, so you know who must sit rating pics all day.

Hmmm - so I've sent a total of about 20-30 messages since going premium. It's an exhausting operation. Just can't do it anymore, even though I take the time to make each message unique, it still feels like the same message. Touch, there's a box to turn on or off for the flirt. It's default is preticked for women and unticked for men and couples. (it's right under the rating scale... :-D.) I didn't notice any difference in the amount of flirts I received when I went from premium to guest. Thanks to the senders! There's heaps of info on the whole bizzo if you do an advanced forum search for Hot or What. Peachy

The old one used to keep a history of blocked text messages and phone calls(wtf) a bit disappointing. Not so with the new. Very empowering once l listened to the psychologist to use the feature to be rid of a few of life's parasites. Yeah what's with the 3am booty calls from males? Upon thinking out your theory further, I have to say tho that previous datefinder posts, I did not have this response. All those who contacted me were single men. No couples. So I don't think that is the case. U worked til early hours last night, so backtracking my movements here if I was too deliriously tired to have done some sleep posting on datefinder. Haha 😕 back to drawing board.

The new version of datefinder is actually way better than the previous one. However, a.bit clumsy still. This must be the beta release. with a different look and feel. Mods, why not allow us to - Edit our description on datefinder once it was submitted. Fat fingers et Al😥 - Untick or Unselect the people we have originally said 'yes' to but after short convo, definitely a no go zone. Or again, fat fingers syndrome. - Cut and paste previous comments or description into new dates. Saves us typing and making mistakes, fat fingers et al, 😭😝when we may pretty much want same things or modify the last one a bit. I've got more. Lol😜 Surely you've heard of user testing prior to a release 😜

We had a family discussion (of sorts) ... between my one parent, brother and my sister in absentia. There has been 'pressure' to reconnect with 'family friends' and my brother wanted to know why I was so adamant that I wasn't going to be involved. I'd kept my secret for so long, the 11 year old me who shared it with my mother, the only person who knew, knew it better than to 'spread rumours of a great family man...' On that weekend during our talk, in my moment of anger, the 11 year old me surfaced and angrily announced that 'all child molesters should be six feet under ... good riddance to fucking bad rubbish ...' My brother's look of shock and horror and my mother's subsequent retort of 'you still telling that lie...' bought a shuddering holt to discussions. A simple question from my brother to my mother. 'When did she tell you and what did you do about it?' He didn't say anything immediately, just walked up to me and held me in a cuddle that didn't need words ... Then and there the hurt 11 year old disappeared 💗💗 The past wont disappear but my guilt and pain was reduced a little. It was cathartic to let it go ... as much as I can. Love Mary xx

lol if it's a work phone, you probably have to hand it over, or I guess expensive phones within a buying contract. Mine is a cheap purchased phone, Big W variety 😀 I never trust anyone with my phone, when they die they die, I have a phone graveyard, pile of smashed phones I plan on putting in a frame. Each one I became attached to and yes, material stored on, that's for me only 😉

Can relate Mary. As a young girl I was sent away for finally having the courage to tell someone I thought would save me, about the wonderful, respected relative who everyone looked up to in the family. When I told her, I finally felt safe. She would stop it. And yes,it was stopped, by sending me away. It was never spoken about again. Until decades later when I asked this woman who was supposed to protect me as a child,why she didnt believe me. "Oh I know it happened, but you were a strong child, you never cried, but if his wife found out, it would have destroyed her", was how she justified her actions. I looked at this woman and felt pity. She would never know what real love was. Because she had no heart to fill. I didnt cry that day either.

For sharing your stories with us and having a voice about this issue. I spent my whole childhood suffering in silence and didn't tell anyone until I was an adult. The horrible guilt that it was my fault, and there was something wrong with me formed my beliefs on my body, men and what sex was from a young age. Finally as a mother I have started embracing myself, taking back control and accepting that none of it was my fault. All children deserve an innocent childhood, an adult who will have their best interests at heart, and a belief that no matter what's been said to them, they can speak up and have their voice heard. That nothing bad will happen to them or their families by doing so. Sending love to anyone who has battled a monster and survived xx

But my innocent mind had blocked it out of my memory for years. One day, something triggered it. He had given me a pat on my bottom as he walked past. Visions of the horrible past came flooding back to me. I felt confused. I felt ashamed. I felt dirty. I cried but suffered alone in silent. I blamed myself and couldn't tell anyone because it would bring shame to the family. (insert Soft's second sentence from her second paragraph here). I gained a lot of weight and deliberately made myself look unattractive because I didn't want another man to look at me again. A decade later, I found the courage to tell my husband and my sister and, finally my mum. I felt a big weight lift off me. I forgave the monster but it would take years for me to love myself again. Still have issues. The battle is a long one. Thanks for sharing with us all. Mine started at the age of 6, and the statistics on this vile form of behaviour are astounding. Becoming a parent was difficult for me balancing the protective mumma bear side with the allowing my children the freedom they deserve to develop and explore. All we can do is be aware, not alarmed and look after our tribe. And continue to battle the beast within when it rears its ugly head. And to anyone that's been affected either directly or indirectly, male or female, your courage to keep going is amazing and something to be proud of xx

You know, nothing men do surprises me anymore what shocks me is how mothers and family members can turn their backs on their own over the inconvenient truth. That must cause at least as much damage as the original betrayal. I'm just saddened, that stuff shocks me. I said to Mary "best wishes" because I'm a stranger but I think you need hugs. Statistics currently are one in three females and one in six males will be affected by abuse in their childhood. Sadly, it hasnt changed very much over the generations. Even though we talk about it now.

My perpetrator was a male ... the person who let that 11 year old me down most was my mother. Many people don't understand why I chose to have nothing to do with her, did she have a good Mother's Day? I don't care really. Her betrayal was forgiven .... but will never forgotten! I know I've laid myself bare here and I've made myself very vulnerable and I did that because that's how I cope, I'm a talker :) I also knew I could trust you all to raise it. In doing so I've triggered past events and stories for some people. We all have our stories that have shaken us, changed us, defined us or shaped us in some way. Some have shared their stories with us, others chose not to AND that is more than ok. There isn't a right or wrong way to cope with these things, we do it the best way we know how. MY PLEA is that we respectfully deal with what has been shared (and your support has been incredible) and allow each other the care and dignity to not use anything we learn about each other as a 'weapon' now or in the future, privately or publicly. Willow, Soft and Tulips ... It's been said already about you lovely women 💕 I see such intelligent, strong and wonderful people in you. You all have shown how human frailty is tempered with such resilience, compassion and strength. 💕💕 This wasn't a go at men or women, perpetrators aren't a gender but a type that seek the vulnerable, betray the innocent for self serving needs. No one has named or shamed, but shared a part of themselves, a deeply personal part of their life story.
