In the latest episode Dexter's sister declares her love for him...An awkward moment indeed. Interestingly in Australian law you can marry your aunt, uncle, neice,or nephew but not a non blood related step sister or brother that you grew up with.. So in theory an awkward moment would be if you received a message, opened the pg only to find Aunty Gertrude or Uncle Bert staring out at you 😈 Q

I think we can all agree that as a message it was inappropriate and that the person sending it, to multiple women, is attention seeking. Regardless of anyone's acceptance, or not, of consensual adult siblings choosing to enter into a sexual relationship, the tone of that message is disturbing.... As you pointed out with your "wire brush" comment to Kis... Tall is an intelligent, measured man, and I'm sure he was simply attempting to lighten the thread, but Annie et al (yes, I did that on purpose) are correct in saying that a light or funny spin shouldn't be applied in this case. The message is inappropriate and, I'm guessing, was meant to cause distress/discomfort to the recipients - that's not funny... Shit stirring and playing Devil's Advocate are 2 different things - even at 3am 😉

I would also like to add to the above responses that the sender of that message has no idea of the background of the recipient and what a message like that might trigger. Fantasy is one thing but to send that as a first message is highly inappropriate on many levels. I just can't see the humour in it.

Comes across very charming and eloquent. Until you tell him you dont want to meet ( I knew something wasnt quite right ). Two of my friends on here have had the same experience with him. Once he realises nothings going to happen theres a nasty rant, you are a C**t, Bitch, Fu**ing Cockteaser.etc etc and its quite crazy. Then a week later, an apology. Its like a Jekyll and Hyde syndrome. I just hope no one meets him and displeases him.

This isn't a case of some poor misunderstood guy trying to gain acceptance of his societally-frowned upon, taboo kink. This is a guy purposely acting like a wankstain and nobody has to entertain his fucked up shenanigans.

Quoting 'Cyclone_Annie' Some things just need to be given a wide berth. Nothing can be said to put a humorous spin on that. Seriously ? WTF ?!? I would have thought that the big smiley face emoji should have given the game away that the commentary was very firmly tongue-in-cheek. Or is it simply a case that some people are allowed to get away with that, and some aren't ?? Do I really need to put footnotes under all my comments so that it is not misunderstood ? This is a guy purposely acting like a wankstain and nobody has to entertain his fucked up shenanigans. I read Annie's comment as suggesting that some topics must be given a wide berth and could never be lightened (i.e. the incestuous theme of the message) and not so much just the fact that it was an inappropriate message to KIS from her correspondent from a very literal suburb in the city of brotherly love. That got me on the track of "why do we (near universally) come down so hard against incest", and sweetfrangipani's comment about keeping him away from children. (Or that, as Betty has said the tone is disturbing - when I'd argue the only way the tone of the message is disturbing is because of the subject). I probably wasn't clear enough on differentiating that from thoughts on the appropriateness (or lack thereof) of the wankstain's message itself. (I was intending to keep it distinct from others who were looking at it from POV of someone trolling) (even on the end of a dressing down, can't help but smirk because of "shenanigans" - anyone else have words that just make you smile regardless of when they're used?) Betty: ego vide quid ibi fecerit :) Q: it's interesting piece of law IMO, IIRC it focuses on the 'abuse of power' aspect moreso now than the inbreeding.

It doesn't remove the need to be sensitive to the subject.Taboo subjects may be discussed and dissected but never joked about unless you are a professional. I think artists like Eddie Murphy might be able to pull it off, maybe........ And you are no Eddie Murphy obviously.Paedophilia, rape and incest. Quoting 'naughty4nice' What should one say ? We are on here looking for our own reasons , both similar objectives , if you like me send a message back . I love to chat - Posted from rhpmobile I think all the above comments throughout the thread indicate how different we are, yet there are some common things not appreciated by women. Advice from me, and this is just me and what I like, but just keep the first message reasonably short and simple, express interest, flatter, make it about ME not a generic message, that always gets my interest, and non pushy. I find non pushy is the biggest asset for guys because, well firstly we are quite often busy, but sometimes women can be undecided, teetering, not really sure, then a few days later, or a few weeks later, might have another look and feel attracted, which is great, then if you have been nice and non pushy, she's more likely to follow it up. But the guys who push and make it all about them come across as being selfish, which in my opinion translates to intimacy, what kind of lover they are. How much do they care about the person, that matters, we are all individuals, so long as you treat any woman you contact as an individual and not a commodity, along with respect, you'll be fine. I don't know whether any of that made sense, only on my first coffee

It was another site, but one young lady told me that she was actually only 17, but was still willing for me to take her for a drink. She explained that I could be her father. I am still certain it was either police trying to trap people, or a fake profile looking for blackmail material because she seemed too keen. Either way it seemed a lose/lose situation, so I came back on here for another try. before everybody starts screaming "your profile says couple", I have a playmate that has a boyfriend and wishes to remain discreet. I live by myself and plan outings for us. Ok!! cheers

I had another guy tell me his profession and although i can't say what it is on here, I did wonder whether he was trying to drum up business haha good news, he didn't charge

bit off topic but I've seen a chick's profile where she's holding a stack of money, heap of large notes, fanned out in her hand, and another few pics of her laying nude with the money all over her. Is that allowed, it looks like she's advertising a paid service. Seems odd that pictures like that would get approved when I have one of me laying on the beach in a bikini, that I can't get approved. Off topic I know, but just following the convo about being offered money

I'll answer that, and an interesting question. First though, George Clooney doesn't do it for me, so I'll choose Bradley Cooper So if I received a message from him, I would assume it was someone with stolen pictures lol so the poor guy would either get rejected straight up or in the unlikely event he managed to convince me, he'd still get the third degree, filtering stuff, checks. Okay, so let's assume he passed through all that, I would then not even bother looking at his profile, except for a perve and I'd be in the shower preparing for an urgent seeing to

The ones where a guy asks if he can watch and video me while I screw an escort that he will hire for me. Had this a a couple of times from guys pretending to be a couple or similar, its just weird and I fail to understand how they could think that I might be interested unless I was some financially deprived sex maniac that couldn't otherwise fund his bizarre hobby. The other one is the fairly frequent kind offer of blowjobs from guys but at least with this I know I've got a following if ever I decide to bat for the other team. I've seen the FWB's messages occasionally and it makes me cringe what some of the guys will do in order to try and get somewhere, very funny.

All depends on the compliment..... If you compliment their pic, don't compliment them.....they'd get that a lot.....and an insecure woman will expect you to compliment their photo to boost their ego/self esteem.... Same with guys..... Besides they'd get that with every man, which started with their father long, long, time ago....so let's face it, ain't nothing they haven't heard before.... The best compliment I've found to be is discussion..... - Posted from rhpmobile

Stirry...I don't need to be or even like being constantly showered with compliments, but on the other hand if a guy didn't ever compliment me at all then I'd just assume he's not interested and some friendly discussion is as far as it would ever go. There is such a thing as playing it too cool, and if you think a woman is too insecure for you and only looking for an ego boost then I'm not sure I see why you would be communicating with her anyway. I will also say that I believe it goes both ways...if I'm genuinely interested in a guy then I will compliment him. I don't see anything wrong with giving a genuine compliment as part of expressing interest in someone.

I tend not to dish out compliments too much as I think anyone can spray compliments around as merely their game....which lets face it messages like "you're hot!!" Wait up.... My bad "ur hot..." Are pretty similar in intention as "wow, your profile pic looks amazing" The backbone for me is women can mostly tell a lot of things about a guy within the first few minutes of a conversation.... For example... I live next to this damn sexy looking lady, very similar to you actually....and within the first 6 months of my tenancy, saw her blatantly knowing the thoughts that'd ran through my head when she said "I've seen the way you look at me when we chat, we should do something about it" And..... I never complimented her at all....I merely treated her as someone I'd known for ages.... P.S..see what I did there??? ;) - Posted from rhpmobile

Sure if it's someone you're seeing in person regularly, you get all the non-verbal cues as well. When it comes to online communication things are a bit different though. And yes I did see what you did there
